Summary: mine broke after one month. I only carried it around between my office and my kitchen. I replaced it with an asus portable monitor (1920x1080) which weighs only 800g and the screen is much clearer and still working after a month. The picture on the HP wasn't very crisp nor bright.
Summary: I bought this from Newegg a couple years ago when it was being dumped at $69 a panel! I believe this happened because at that time few had displayport and maybe the company decided it was just a blunder. Great deal! I bought two, in case my daughter busted the one I gave her.
Pros: Very thin and relatively light, small bezel. Portable. Good picture.
Cons: Not quite as bright as I would like it (I believe it's an MVA panel). Only a brightness adjustment.
Summary: Called HP, has a 3 year warranty (parts, labor, on-site service). Contacted HP (It is a commercial Monitor not a consumer one so you will have to contact commercial repair department or be transferred (I was transferred 4 times from consumer to commercial to consumer to commercial department).
Pros: AWSOME display, I have had CRT/LCD/LCD-LED monitors but this one takes the cake, very vibrant display, no lag as others mentioned (even playing games at high resolution and high frame rates, think their video cards might be problem on lag). IT IS A DISPLAY PORT MONITOR so if you don't have a disp...
Cons: I bought monitor 5-3-2013, I am writing this report 11-23-2014 cause it went out on me (tunnel vision when working bright center dark corners) or wont even come on when this happens and monitor goes into sleep mode. So only lasted about 1 1/2 years.
Summary: I bought this Item used from someone who was moving and I couldn't be happier. Just make sure you use DISPLAY PORT not HDMI and you'll be fine. I'm using it as a secondary monitor with my macbook Pro and as long as you have the correct adapter to go from Displayport to mini-display you'll be fine.
Summary: If you have a display-port output, this monitor is a great choice. I've been using it daily for about a year and a half and found no problems so far. The ONLY bad think about this monitor is that it has only a display-port input. So you will need a display-port output.
Summary: The cabling is a big issue....this monitor comes with just 1 display port. If you want to have dual monitors - you will have to spend another ~100 bucks for the adapter.... Also, The display port is located on the side of the monitor, which protrudes from the side of the monitor..
Summary: Do not buy this crap monitor. Don't even accept it as a gift. Unless you have a ***NATIVE*** DisplayPort output on your device, you *WILL NOT* be able to get this piece of s*** to display. It will detect. It will load the driver. It will show as "working properly.
