8 February 2015
  • Excerpt: This is the best monitor I have ever used the color is just too accurate to pick. Much batter than the ips display on Mac. The only drawback which isn't a big deal is the lack of mini display port and pip mode only works with composite cable but not like display port and dvi but no one will use pip...

Martin P, B&H Photo
31 December 2014
  • Excerpt: Bought 3 of those a few days ago. Two out of three monitors had bad pixels (5 dead; 1 green sub on). HP's response was impresive, they sent a tech on site to take care of exchanging the two défective units.

Notes on my Dreamcolor lp2480zx purchase

Chris Lee "Lexar", Amazon
3 October 2014
  • Summary: A splendid color trustworthy monitor when paired with the Dreamcolor Color Calibration Solution (B1F63AA) (200-350$). I could not be happier with the price (700-800$) and quality. I did consider the 4K HP alternative, but the price was double, and for most of my purposes, unneeded as of yet.

  • Pros: Accurate, Versatile
