Great monitor if you don't need wide viewing angles
5 March 2011
Summary: I wanted to use a large monitor for my computer and initially purchased a Panasonic TC-L32S1 32 inch IPS lcd tv for this purpose based on recommendations out on the web. That TV was way to large to properly read documents and browse the web, no matter how fun it might have been to use for games.
Summary: First of all, I don't think people should rate the product on the quality of a sticker. It was good information to know this but people have to get into the detail to know that you think this is a good monitor with a 2 star rating.
Summary: I love this...it's huge, and works great. My last computer monitor was 22 inches. However, for some reason when I would try to utilize the 22", it would always stretch the screen...(no matter what settings I put it on). Therefore I really had a 19" screen.
Summary: PROS: 1. able to open and work on multiple apps at the same time. 2. I have a TV tuner hooked up to my computer. I can now watch TV in the corner of the screen while I am working on apps. 3. HD picture from the TV tuner is excellent on this monitor 4.
Pros: Like I mentioned, it is very bright. Whites and blacks are right on. Big, shiny, beautiful screen. Lots of extra configuration options for a more dynamic model than my previous HP2207. The 2.5 response time is quite noticeable compared to the 6ms on the 2207. Good buy.
Cons: No complaints, just observations... these speakers may as well not be built in; they are pitiful. The shiny screen adds to glare problem; however, that is fixed with the intensity of backlight.
