Summary: I purchased two of these monitors on a Black Friday sale, and used them simultaneously. One decided to sporatically turn on and off, once it reached a normal operating temperature. Because I threw it in a box during moving and didn't get around to reporting it to HP until aver 365 days, it was denied warranty. Fair enough, but there should be a good customer service policy.
Summary: Cheap and flimsy. Picture is ok. I am using this as a second monitor, so it's ok. I will continue to use my HP 2310m as my primary monitor. Thank goodness I bought it on sale - I would have been pretty angry if I had paid full price for such poor quality. HP has just lost my brand loyalty with this purchase.
Summary: HP Product support was terrible. The monitor did not function out of the box and I spent 4 hours on the phone with HP to get it working. At first HP wanted to charge me an hourly rate to help me or wanted me sign up for some service plan to help me. Finally I said, if you won't help me under the warranty, I will send the product back to Amazon and buy another brand. The monitor works fine now, as expected and the price was fair. The product get 4 Stars, HP gets Zero.
Summary: Decent enough quality display on this monitor, but it failed after 18 months. I did NOT buy this from Amazon (but I am buying the replacement from Amazon and not another HP!). The place I bought it warrantied the computer for 24 months and the monitor for 12 months (part of a bundle that didn't make that very clear). Sounds like HP knew something about the monitor that I didn't! Expensive monitor to only last 18 months.
Summary: After 2 months of use, my monitor got a vertical white line. I emailed HP warranty support, and got a call back from HP. The person basically did not speak any English. They sent me a highly used replacement monitor, which was all scratched, and the image was dim and yellow, to the point that I cannot work on it without straining my eyes. The package says that FedEx pickup is not paid by HP, so I have to go in person to drop it off.
My eyes hurt when I work with this monitor! Is anyone else having this problem?

Summary: Can anyone give me some useful advice regarding the problem I am having with my new monitor? Basically, once I plugged this new monitor in, I instantly felt like it was too bright and the text was fuzzy, by the way, photos looked really good, it was only the text that I was having issues with. My first troubleshooting inclination is that I need to adjust the brightness settings or configurations.
Summary: Bought it from staples when they were on sale, and have been using it for last few weeks. It looks nice but does not have a good build quality. Seems to be made of light cheap plastic. Lot of people on different forums had issues with the picture quality. My monitor seems to be fine. However, it seems to have ongoing issues with waking up from sleep.
Summary: Just got this from Amazon. I ordered 2. Right away the power brick was dead on one of them. I had to call HP and get a replacement -- took 3 days. Good job on HP since they shipped it out right away. Once I got the monitor fired up, I noticed that I was having DVI issues. The picture just didn't look very crisp. I tested my Mac on the other monitor and it looked fine over DVI. I'm now connected over VGA and surprisingly the picture actually looks better than the DVI.
Summary: I cannot beleve the ratings this screen gets on the web. The Hanns-G I bought for my other computer is WAY better. On this HP the colors are off, the image is not sharp and keeps blinking bright and dimmer. This is the worst Monitor I have ever had. Maybe its the size but don't even try to show a photo or picture as a desktop, you will be disappointed. Buy something else.
