Summary: I purchased this monitor a little over a year ago. It just went on the blink. Called HP for a replacement and they said the warranty had expired by one week. They said I could purchase another one for $120. What a joke! A monitor lasts for one year and one week and they wouldn't replace it for free and they expect me to purchase another one! Don't buy this monitor. I won't be buying anything from HP anymore.
Summary: I bought this to replace my old 19" monitor and have been pleasantly surprised. I had purchased this same monitor as a gift for my son who loves his so I got another one for myself. The colors are bright even at the edges of the screen.
Summary: My husband had an old monitor where the on-button was broken, so he could no longer turn it off--a bit annoying. When the connection came loose, and the picture more often than not was shaded pink, I bought him this, because all he would say was 'oh, it's still doing okay...'. Ha. Now he has a wonderful, great picture quality, rather wider monitor, and the only thing he found that is lacking from perfect is that it doesn't have a webcam.
Summary: it is a beast with a little more than average display and its 20 inch display it is well at everything the only cons are the buttons are not heat sensitive witch is not a big deal and there is no cable management but over all its a great buy.
Summary: I recently bought this monitor replacing a 7 year old Dell. I am very happy with it. The glossy dark black frame really makes the screen pop. The stand is plastic and just a wee bit wobbly but it does not affect performance in anyway. It is the newest HP2011 with a few enhancements. CNET gave its larger brother a "Very Good" rating (3.5 to 4 stars). The price was perfect for me. With coupon, got it for $112.
