Summary: I purchased my monitor in the spring of 2012 and it's still going strong, the image is sharp, it's taken some abuse, and it was pretty cheap. The reason for the 4/5 stars however, is the fact that it does not have any sort of HDMI input, but even without that it's still a good buy.
Summary: The monitor is clearly not bad, but it seems you cannot have two devices plugged in at the same time even if the two inputs are available. My other monitors usually have the option of selecting one of two sources.
Summary: I ordered this for a friend and she has been loving it. I give this product passing colors. I choose liking it because I was not using it personally and do not have the experience. I would like to get one for myself soon if ever needed.
Summary: I use 3 monitors for work. Two of them started failing (must be around 7 years old). I decided to try the hp2011x to check its readability (I write software for a living). I like the monitor enough to replace the other two. My plan is to rotate the three monitors, but I noticed there isn't the standard hole pattern on the back of the HP2011x, so I can't use standard mounts to hold this monitor in a rotated orientation.
Summary: gives your home office a new look and easier on the eyes than the old monitor. It is a very good value fo the price. With tablet, laptop and phones to access internet and apps we did not need a high dollar pc monitor.
