Summary: Ok, for the most important thing to me, this monitor DOES NOT have mounting for any other stands. It DOES NOT have the four mounting holes on the back of it, which just about every other monitor made these days does. Which for me was a big let down since I bought two of these for a dual monitor setup with a wall mounted mount. I was very disappointed when I opened these up. But with some redneck manipulation I fixed that real quick.
Summary: No Mount points/hole/bracket. I have 12 lcd panels running here at my office, all different sizes and brands, and this is literally the only with out a mount point. Probably works great, never even bothered to take it out of the plastic though after the aforementioned discovery. Returned.
Summary: The monitor is very good for the money and comes with a stand thats good for a desk top. I would like to use a better stand that has more adjustment but it requires 4 screws on the back that mount to a plate. Most monitors have these. I didn't see it on the description and the 3 pictures didn't show the back of the monitor. I should have done more research...my bad.
Summary: I bought this monitor to use as an external monitor with my Macbook Pro. It works great, nice size and good display. It's thin as well so it doesn't take up much vertical space on my desk. I don't know a lot about displays so I will stay away from the technical aspects of screen resolution, color, etc. It seems fine. It's bright. It's clear. It was easy to set the screen resolution for my mac, etc.
Summary: First, appreciate that the seller was able to ship to my PO box on Guam. The picture display is very sharp and bright. The only concern I have is the stand which is mostly made of plastic. I am afraid that it might break if I forget to hold the base down and slowly tilt the screen. as long as I am careful, it should be fine.
Summary: Great value. Limited to only vga or dvi input but great for the price. Clear and bright the setting are very basic but you can get a very clear picture. The power saver puts monitor to sleep when there is no input. I actually bought two of these to run dual monitors.
Summary: I bought two of the HP 2011x's after wanting an upgrade from my 15 inch laptop screen. To be quite honest, it looks spectacular. When people walk into the office, they are simply wow'ed by the color, and the design. 20 inches was more than enough for my space, and it honestly looks amazing. If this was the only factor that I was considering, then it is a 5/5, no problem. However, its not just about the picture quality.
