William A Donovan, Amazon

  • Summary: My existing monitor proved not to be OK after I thought it was ruined so I gave this new, good one to a school. They were very pleased to receive it.

No speakers

Robert McCarthy, Amazon
29 June 2013
  • Summary: We purchased this not realizing there were no speakers. Amazon was great about taking it back so we ordered another one. It's not a bad product, we just wanted speakers built-in.

16:9 really killed this montor for me

Grizzz, Amazon
21 January 2013
  • Summary: i bought this thinking it would be great for xbox and pc gaming but when i got it the lack of 1080p really ruined it for me. if your into gaming at 1080p this monitor isnt for you, even with that said it is a great looking monitor its just really annoying because the xbox does not have an aspect ration for this so every time you'll get a notification telling you to switch it to 16:9

4 Ghost-like Lines

Ashley, Amazon
9 November 2012
  • Summary: I just received this beauty about 30 minutes ago. Decent screen for the price! Worth the buy. I'll update once I hook it up to my PC. Right now I'm just testing it out with my netbook. Update 11-14-12 I'm not sure if it's the screen itself but from time to time I notice about 4 ghostly horizontal lines on the monitor. I tried figuring out what they were but it could be my computer's graphics card. Hopefully it's not the monitor.

Half-way decent budget monitor, lots of limitations

I. Armstrong, Amazon
9 July 2012
  • Summary: I initially purchased this monitor for an attorney who needed a second portrait-oriented monitor for drafting documents that would put most of us to sleep. Because it was intended to match the right hand (second) monitor it needed to be 20" and due to the Ergotron mount, it needed to be light. Before purchasing this monitor, please note that there are no VESA mounts on the back.

Product Description is wrong

Summer, Amazon
3 June 2012
  • Summary: Just like a few others, I only realized they sent a LCD instead of LED monitor (said so on the box) after I received it. So either the product description is wrong, or the people in charge of sending our orders got mixed up, more than once. Since the monitor is working fine, I won't be exchanging it as it's a hassle, but just wanted to warn potential buyers.

Ok for the price

SellerTC, Amazon
18 February 2012
  • Summary: Ok for the price. This DOES NOT have a HDMI port, Dell UltraSharp U2312HM 23-inch Widescreen would be a better alternative..

Not bad for the price

anmiho, Amazon
18 September 2011
  • Summary: My husband got me this as a gift- he got the package deal from Best Buy: HP deskjet, HP p7-1054 CPU and this monitor. Compared to my HP laptop the screen is wider and brighter looking. I also love the slimline and the b0ack color. It's considered the 'low end' of the HP line of products, but I was disappointed to find out it does not have speakers, or support HDMI cable.
