Summary: Product is a brandname unit, but it lacks mounting holes for a wall mount, making it worthless to me. One must accept a 15% restocking fee and the shipping charges to return..the typical Amazon.com ploy. Only buy items from third party Amazon vendors with caution. Quality is often poor, return practices/requirements not provided until the unit arrives and one reads the invoice.
Summary: The minimum time spent with HP Customer support is 1 Hour. Doesn't matter what the issue is you will spend an hour phonetically spelling you last name "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot . . ." The they will tell you that it is a computer problem rather than their monitor. Yeah, the other monitor I previously had attached just worked miraculously with my brand new top end computer but the HP somehow it can't quite measure up with the HP Monitor.
Summary: i bought this thinking it would be great for xbox and pc gaming but when i got it the lack of 1080p really ruined it for me. if your into gaming at 1080p this monitor isnt for you, even with that said it is a great looking monitor its just really annoying because the xbox does not have an aspect ration for this so every time you'll get a notification telling you to switch it to 16:9
Summary: Boy will I ever stay away from anything HP in the future. My monitor goes to black with a cursor in the upper left corner. I called for support. It has been happening for close to a year, but I didn't realize it was the monitor until recently. First, they told me it is "two days until the end of the warranty" so they would of course charge me to help me.
Summary: Ok, for the most important thing to me, this monitor DOES NOT have mounting for any other stands. It DOES NOT have the four mounting holes on the back of it, which just about every other monitor made these days does. Which for me was a big let down since I bought two of these for a dual monitor setup with a wall mounted mount. I was very disappointed when I opened these up. But with some redneck manipulation I fixed that real quick.
Summary: I just received this beauty about 30 minutes ago. Decent screen for the price! Worth the buy. I'll update once I hook it up to my PC. Right now I'm just testing it out with my netbook. Update 11-14-12 I'm not sure if it's the screen itself but from time to time I notice about 4 ghostly horizontal lines on the monitor. I tried figuring out what they were but it could be my computer's graphics card. Hopefully it's not the monitor.
Summary: No Mount points/hole/bracket. I have 12 lcd panels running here at my office, all different sizes and brands, and this is literally the only with out a mount point. Probably works great, never even bothered to take it out of the plastic though after the aforementioned discovery. Returned.
