Pros: Not too bright to look at, big screen compared to other monitors, has three inputs and plenty of color adjustment
Cons: Emits a loud humming noise whenever the screen is on. I have tried everything to eliminate it, I can't tell if it's the built-in speakers or the lamp ballast. The backlight itself is bad after only a year or so of use, with splotchy yellowish regions on the right-hand side and noticeable bright s...
Summary: I like the monitors outright, but if this is the quality I am to expect form $200 monitors by Hannspree I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Pros: The display looks great in general. Has good input selections as well.
Cons: The monitor will not last you. Both the monitors I bought ended up with the "2 seconds to black" error after a year of ownership. I have tv's and monitors that have lasted me 10-20 years, I see no reason these expensive ones should last less than 5.
Pros: Cheap, good colors, big size. Gave me two years of service.
Cons: Wobbly stand with almost no adjustment options. Got a bad capacitor after 2 years. Monitor turns off 2 seconds after power on till you cycle it a few times. Then makes loud buzzing noise. Common issue with this model if you google it.
Summary: buying this monitor is a roll of the dice. to send in for repair costs close to buying a new reliable manufacturer's monitor. i will never by another HANNspree product.
Pros: it's a large screen
Cons: this model has many known issues. i bought this new and used it for about a month the back light went out. you can see the screen is still on if you use a flashlight. searched this issue and found that this occurs more often than not. dedicated techs have tried repairing the issue without success...
Summary: Did an RMA with free shipping. had it replaced and the monitor that came after had a crooked stand, but not crooked enough to warrant the time it takes to do another RMA. Second monitor worked fine. Nice big screen.
Pros: Why are people giving lower ratings to a USED monitor for missing cables, dead pixels, etc... it's USED. You pay a cheaper price and "hope" that it's perfect. If it's not, that's what you get for taking a shot with a USED product at a reduced price.
Cons: People not knowing what they are buying and then complaining.
Summary: I noticed that it set a little crooked on the desk top. I am not sure if that is because they were refurb and got tweaked or they were shipped with the stand attached. Not gonna sweat it i stuck some business cards under one side to adjust it.
Pros: Cheap and is big excellent for office monitors. Bought mine off the refund list got 2 for the office. One is not as bright as a new new monitor. And the other none has a dead pixel. But her the were on refurb
Summary: All in all this is bigger better and cheaper then the last monitor i bought. Like my father says make sure you trade up. Refub is not bad to buy, does lack a good warranty, kind of wish i got extended warranty.
Pros: This thing looks nice. It was an upgrade from an old 22in samsung 1680x1050. Noticable size difference and depth of picture. Games look nice, may have to do some calibration for color and or picture size. Payed less for this then i did my old Samsung back in the day.
Cons: Only thing that bothers me is when i try and play knights of the old republic in 1080P the screed goes out of wack. Could be the VGA connection, or the video card (GTX465) with latest drivers, Mass Effect3,Alan Wake,The DarknessII, all work fine. Fun fact (90% of computer issues are user error)
