Great quality and price, but doesn't last very long.

Summary: The monitor was great when it worked. I bought this exact monitor in May of 2010. About a week and a half ago the backlight went out on it. I paid $199.99 for it at the time. I loved the thing. The picture was outstanding. However, it didn't even last me three years, which makes me a sad panda. I won't buy another Hannspree product simply because of this. Now I'm stuck using my old 19 inch monitor that isn't even HD, like some kind of savage.
Summary: I bought this, thinking it would be a match for my HannSpree HD255. Turns out there a two models of the HD255. The one I owned and like has HDMI inputs. This one does not, and only has DVI and VGA inputs. Still, a good looking monitor, and aside from the lack of HDMI, it's okay for my purposes.
Summary: I run two of these on a desk-mounted dual monitor stand. They work great but a a little heavy for the pivot points of the stand arms. That's a fault of the stand, not the monitors. A little blue Loc-Tite on the pivot points helped solve the problem.
