Excellent LCD Monitor

sumitt2003, Ebay
2 October 2011
  • Summary: Even though this monitor was bought used, it came and has performed like it was new. It has surpassed the tube type monitor it replaced in every way.

Crisp display, cheap price, good looking

DJClarke, Dooyoo
26 April 2012
  • Excerpt: Initially I bought this monitor as I had heard good things about the Hanns.G make, and on a budget of up to £120 the thought was that I couldn't go wrong. Unfortunately I found out at a later date that for a few pounds more I could of had a 22" of the same make (which is what I did for my own pc as...

The Hanns-G HW191D is a well manufactured, impressively spec'd unit with great durabilty.

axelsmith, Dooyoo
13 March 2012
  • Excerpt: The Hanns-G HW191D is a silver and black plastic cased 19inch LCD flat-panel monitor, sold for around £90 to £110 from several on-line outlets. On the face of it, it looks like a pretty standard budget monitor with the usual DVI/DSUB-15(VGA) connections and some internal speakers, but it is solidly...

Cables

GenerationX, Amazon
3 March 2011
  • Summary: Good product for the price. If you're confused about the cables/connectors, the monitor comes with two cable types - VGA and DVI-D. You don't need to buy separate cables if you want to use DVI (as I thought you might, as some don't come with DVI cables). Everything you should need is in the box. PS.

  • Summary: This arrived in less than 48 hours. It is a great value deal from amazon. A very good price for an excellent quality screen. I read a lot of the reviews here before choosing to buy this one and it was time well spent.

A Four Year Old Product Still Shines Brightly

HanaBi "sonatine97", Amazon
20 January 2011
  • Summary: Difficult to believe that this wonderful product is a little over 4 years old because it certainly doesn't feel like it! Took less than 10 minutes to unpack and plug into the back of my W7 PC.

An excellent buy for the money!

Saetana "What, the land of the free? Whoever ..., Amazon
16 October 2010
  • Summary: I only had around £100 to spend on a new monitor following the abrupt demise of my old 17" flatscreen (9 years old), ideally I wanted a 19" TFT Widescreen with a DVI connection, adjustable stand, and reasonably attractive design.

A good buy two years ago, but today you can do better.

LastLine, Dooyoo
13 August 2010
  • Excerpt: I picked up this monitor a couple of years ago as a cheap monitor for my university set up. It cost me about £90 at the time so I'm surprised to see Amazon selling it at £104 now.

  • Excerpt: The Hanns.G HW191AP LCD monitor was a bargain buy for me as I picked it up second hand for only £25. When I say second hand, I mean hardly used kind of second hand. If you want to buy this new, then it'll cost you around £100 from places like Amazon.

Excellent value

Bobbyboy "Gym Rat", Amazon
3 November 2009
  • Summary: Needed a cheap replacement monitor, was so impressed with it that I still have it a year later and have no intentions of upgrading as it has all the qualities i need and more. Only one thing is the sound could be a bit better but as i had a pc sound system it wasn't a problem.
