Pretty good monitor.

legozander, Ebay
11 April 2013
  • Summary: If you're just looking for a decent HD monitor for business or home use, then look no further. The monitor itself has only a few customizable features, such as brightness and contrast. The only way to change the amount of red, green, and blue that shows up in the picture is to use the five or six Gateway defined presets. The Monitor does have a little too much white light for my liking, but this is barely noticible in a regularly lit room.

Refresh rate a little slow but well worth the money!!

poncepr64, Ebay
18 October 2012
  • Summary: Not at all a bad monitor for the price. A little slow on the refresh rate, and I had to restart my computer (safe mode) because I had set the pixel settings at too high a frequency. It took a little time to find the right setting to get the best picture with this monitor. However I have to say for the money it was a GREAT BUY!!!

"PIcture in Picture (PIP) feature doesn't exist"

gurnx, CNET
10 December 2010
  • Pros: Purchased December 2009 for $100. After a year's use it's delivered good value. Works well with the Ergotron Neo-Flex tilt/swivel stand.
  • Cons: Recently had to use the 'Picture in Picture' feature only to find out that the monitor doesn't support this feature. Otherwise I've been pleased with it's service.

Glossy screen!

Sleepless in Ohio, Amazon
14 May 2010
  • Summary: There are a few problems with this monitor. 1) It has a glossy screen. This is a bad screen if you want accurate colors and have any light source around. 2) The stand is VERY weak. The monitor will wobble around every time you bump the desk that it is on, which is all the time. 3) Quality from the VGA input is very poor. (This may just be a limitation of VGA in general).

Replacement Monitor 22" LCD

A. R. Keith, Amazon
28 February 2010
  • Summary: It does what is required & the cost was excellent. The supplier was quicker then advertised. It doesn't have the bells & whistles that the OEM supplied with the unit but fully does what is needed to facilitate my needs. I'm very satisfied, so far.

Great Monitor, Great Price! Especially for Macbook users!

Ian, Amazon
8 February 2010
  • Summary: When I purchased this monitor for $149, I wasn't expecting much, just a 22" monitor and hopeful of an "acceptable" viewing experience. This monitor is absolutely gorgeous. I currently have it connected to my Black Macbook (2008 model) and I am amazed at the quality of this screen. I currently use a professionally calibrated color profile (easy to find free online) and the colors are rich, the blacks are really black and the screen is super bright.
