Summary: I ordered this screen on the 13th of Feb. I paid 113 and change, the money has gone out of my account so techincally this screen is purchased and belongs to me. So why is it up for sale? Because this douche bag seller put it up for sale, took my money, and then claimed it would cost 50 dollars to ship it to me and refused to send it and then reposted it for sale FOR MORE MONEY! Oh and he still has my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS JACK ASS!!!
Summary: Buying this Gateway HD2200 22" Widescreen HD LCD Monitor, has been so far (to this point... less than a month ago) one of the best, purchases I've made this year. I was using an old, 17 inch flat panel lcd monitor, that was still very functionally sound, but whenever I was on the internet, I always had to scroll back & forth constantly to see all of the info available on the net's widescreen format.
Summary: Received still in the original wrap. minus original box, It even had the 40 dollar sound bar with it. I bought this to replace a monitor that was at Gateway for repair, the one I received back from Gateway wasn't as good ( no hdmi sound out) as this one, these are some of the best monitors you can buy for the money, Hdmi in, composite in, vga in and dvi in. VERY versatile! I have three and am very pleased with them.
Summary: I got this as a replacement for my Gateway FPD2275W through a major retailer's extended warranty program and am extremely displeased. There are an almost innumerable amount of problems with this monitor. Color banding is awful--possibly the worst I've ever seen. The gamma is way off (about 1.5 to 1.9 based on my measurements, depending on saturation--it should be about 2.1-2.2 across the board), and the monitor's gamma settings do not work.
Research color banding before you buy this monitor....

Summary: If you are not ok with serious color banding of all colors.....Then don't buy this monitor. Research hd2200 reviews and issues of color banding before you buy this monitor. The colors are great... I personally can't stand having a 2600$ gaming computer and have horrible graphics. Returned it to gateway and received a new monitor with the same issue, and as an added bonus the touchpanel on the new monitor didn't function.
Summary: Gateway has been the major supplier of computer components for my company since the early 90's. Gateway always delivers; Under all the talk and advertising is an extremely durable product. The HD2200 Widescreen HD LCD Monitor is one of those items. The quality of the screen is immediately apparent, and the number of options available is staggering. Everything is supported, from HDMI and DVI to component and VGA cabling.
Summary: Just bought the NEW model of this 22" size.My reveiw reinforces the other peoples reviews.Love the glossy screen, though there is some light reflections. The style and finishes match my printer and keyboard perfectly.Right now I use mine for computer use only, but with the selection of inputs on the rear I have a tv backup for my bedroom.I was looking for the 24" Samsung model but after seeeing this one on display I liked the screen and the 22" size instead. The Samsong had...
Summary: Monitor has a good viewing size and beautiful picture. The monitor features a 1680X1050 display with PIP if you have a second video imput. Adjusting setting on monitor is very easy with an on screen menu display. Overall I have not had any issues with the monitor and I am very happy with my monitor.
Summary: Ok monitor, except everytime you turn it on, a pop-up window appears telling you to select your language default option. A major nuisance - maybe something is wrong with mine - will return it. A "default" by definition is something you set for keeps until purposely reset.
