Summary: I received the monitor and was extremely happy that it matched the other monitor that I already had, however just after the 90 days the monitor quit working. What to do? the the back light doesn't work, what to do?
Summary: These are typical cheapo LCD monitors with capacitor issues. I have one on my bench right now for repairs; they are insanely hard to crack open but simple to fix. Just need to replace a few caps in the power supply, and I have seen bad ones on the video board before as well.
Summary: Got this used for about $90. I'm sure it's not the top of the line because of it's age, but for the price it's great. My cable box hooked up with no problem (RCA input). The PIP mode is great. I can watch TV while on the computer.
Junk!! 2 monitors died within 3 days...bought at same time!!
20 February 2011
Summary: It's junk. I got the "white screen of death" just as some of the other users on TWO monitors bought at the same time within 3 days of each other. It happened suddenly just after the warranty ran out conveniently.
Excellent monitor, sturdy stand, wide choice of inputs
22 June 2010
Summary: It is a great upgrade to any computer system. USB hub built in. Many Digital and analog input choices. Crisp clear picture. I do not have the optional soundbar so I cannot comment. Quite a bit of softer plastic would be my only complaint. Matte finish screen actually preferred.
Summary: IT IS HD IT IS CLEAR AND 22 INCH, HAS SOUND BUILT IN THE MONITOR AND GOOD FOR GAMEING HAS A LOT OF HPPK UPS ON BACK AND SIDE OF IT, I USE IT FOR MY CCTV SYSTEM ONCE YOU GET A 22 INCH YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO A 17 INCH, IM GLAD I GOT MINE FOR UNDER $100 BUCKS, IF ANY ONE HAS A CHANCE TO GET...
Summary: I bought this monitor refurbished from Tiger Direct. There were flaws in the screen but for the price I can live with them. It has been a grest buy. I use it as a monitor and to watch DVDs and TV.
