Summary: I had a 1600x1200 monitor, and I couldn't stomach giving up 150 vertical pixels, so I decided to buy this. I don't regret it -- I like this monitor a lot. It's worth the awesome price.
Pros: Price is outstanding. 1920x1200. The touchscreen controls are better than buttons. HDMI input, cool, I hope someday to put that to use.
Cons: I wish it had a bit more vertical viewing angle. As I look at it, at the top of the display, colors are a little darker than at the center or the bottom. This doesn't affect usability much A glossy display only means any light in the background is reflected; same for a glossy bevel.
Summary: I bought 2 of these. I used 1 next to my other 23" and the other I used as a TV. hooked it up to my HD cable box with HDMI and it works great. bought the additional speaker later on from newegg and it works great as a TV. no need to buy a real TV when you can use a monitor. this is a good value.
Pros: 24", HDMI, good value. can purchase matching speaker that fits easily to it
Cons: screen quality (clarity) isn't as good as I had hoped but I mostly bought this because of the value, size, and HDMI. when using as a TV you might have trouble seeing things if you place it higher than eye level.
Summary: What more could you ask for at this price? I grew tired of mashing the buttons while adjusting the display settings. So I used the Windows 7 calibration program and only changed the settings using the Catalyst Control Center from ATI. Looks good now.
Pros: The price. The size. No stuck pixels. Glossy screen.
Cons: Delivered in a big Gateway box (not to discrete) Menu buttons sometimes can't decide if they want me to press harder or just barely touch them. View angle is crazy when adjusting the gamma.
Summary: got it for 180 with free shipping, it got to me in less than a week, it was a breeze to set up. and if you have a physical issue with a monitor like spotting on the screen or the monitor downright failing. dont flame an otherwise good monitor, this stuff happens.
Pros: monitors great, beautiful clear picture easy to set up, automatically detects connections. love the monitors menu interface. looks amazing watchin my blu-rays and playing dragon age
Cons: it dosent tilt down at all.. i have mine sitting on top of an old surge protector which makes it just a bit taller than me sitting in my chair if im slouching, so i have to look up at it and it has a tilt angle of about 90 - 115 degrees. no downward tilt. also you cant power it off if youre weari...
Summary: I'm not sure which I prefer more, the 'touch areas' or actual buttons, because buttons can be ugly, but I like to have tactile feedback when using such an input, however touch areas are prettier (they don't break up the otherwise clean lines) however have no feedback, so you only know it's working...
Pros: Vibrant Colors (After I fixed it from it's horribly off default) Stable base easily identifiable power 'touch area' (unlike another monitor I own, where the power 'touch area' isn't labeled and almost an inch away from the power LED) Durable packaging with indestructible foam (Not Styrofoam!) so ...
Cons: Glossy screen. I hate glossy screens. I had to make special accommodations to minimize the glare. (would've got 5 eggs if the screen was matte) The initial/default color settings are atrocious. I almost returned it because it was so bad, but i fixed it and am really happy with the current settings
Pros: Looks good, I use it for a flight sim. Have had no problems. read alot of bad reviews about the touch menu, It seems pretty self explanatory to me!! I also like the ultra 2 ms response option also
