Summary: Count me as another in the crowd who loved this monitor for two years. Now I can only enjoy it if the only interaction I desire with it is watching the blue light in the power button flicker. When I contacted Gateway for an RMA, here is what I was told: gateway: "Find a local repair shop." me: "Sure, where can I find a list of authorized service centers." gateway: "We do not have that information.
Summary: Bought this about a year and a half ago, was really excited about it and I thought I went all out on my monitor but ... now it doesn't work and Gateway says that they are unaware of anyone else complaining. I told them to go online and look. Contacted the BBB and Gateway called me back to say again ... sorry sucker. Avoid this monitor and most likely avoid Gateway products since they don't last more than a year no matter the price.
Summary: Bought this monitor along with complete Gateway System about 20 months ago and now, like many others, the screen will not come up...Blue light on all the time and of course Gateway Support says " Oh too bad for you, we have your money, Ha Ha." I will never buy another Gateway product and you may want to think it over before you commit. I'm thinking about smashing it on Youtube...to send Gateway folks a message.
