Summary: I purchased one of these Elo Touchscreen Monitors from another website, and used it for just under six months as a way to help organize my inventory in my mini-warehouse. I ran a SUPER LONG VGA cable from this touchscreen monitor in my mini-warehouse to my computer in my office, so if I forgot which orders needed to be pulled, I could quickly pull up the information without having to buy an extra computer or ensure networking was available. I absolutely LOVE THIS!
Summary: My organization has a lot of these ELO 1529L's for an application we have which uses a touch screen. These units are slow, slow, deathly slow. We have a few additional things that run upon startup when a machine logs onto our network and just that much makes these units take nearly five minutes to boot up. The operating system XP is probably near the end of support if it's not there already.
Summary: We were replacing a monitor we purchased from Dell a few years ago and after price checking, this one was the same monitor but for about $200 less. We were a little worried it wouldn't work the same but we unplugged the one, plugged this one in and it has worked great ever since. Shipping was fast.
Summary: ELO makes one of the best touch screen monitors. Even this used unit works great, built to last These are used in commercial and industrial environments and have been time tested and proven worthy.
