Summary: Color tuning out of the box was absolutely perfect. Best I've ever had on a monitor. Blacks were darker than expected for an IPS display, and colors richer, and gaming performance is stellar. I used Eizo monitors at work for years, and I'm glad that they have ventured into the home/enthusiast market. I switched over from a 144hz refresh rate Views**ic monitor and do not miss the extra framerate at all.
disappointed in the quality, especially being from Eizo

Summary: Aesthetically this monitor is perfectly fine and it even has adjustable height. The unit I received had major light bleed in the left hand corner, and also came with a dead pixel with 3 stuck pixels nearby. The screen on my defective unit also suffered from the "dirty IPS look"; maybe it was the matte coating on the screen. I can't recommend this IPS monitor to anyone looking for a quality screen.
Summary: This Eizo Foris is a great looking monitor... the stand is my favorite part. It looks military style and has a nice handle for moving it around. It has good colors too. I just think for the price of it nothing really stood out to make it worth the extra cost from all my other similar monitors... PS4 ran so-so on it ... not near as good as the BenQ Gaming Monitor RL2455HM that I have sitting next to it. The RL2455HM runs circles around it.
Summary: I bought this monitor primarily for gaming. The specs would lead you to believe that the designers built this monitor for that purpose. My experience with this monitor proved to be disappointing. The monitor has great color reproduction, fantastic build quality, good OSD layout and functionality. However; a gaming monitor it is not, the smart insight and smart resolution features add only marginal benefit to gaming aspects of the monitor.
Summary: I'm a web developer and gamer as well. I spend about 4 days looking for a best monitor for my gaming/work setup. So far super happy with my choice! My gaming setup: 2 x EIZO Foris FS2333-BK 23-Inch (my score: 5/5) 1x GIGABYTE BRIX GB-BXi7-4770R 8GB 1TB (attached on the back of one of the monitors) (my score: 5/5) 1x CM Storm QuickFire Stealth (CHERRY MX BLUE Switches) (my score: 10/5) 1x Razer Electra Over Ear PC and Music Headset - Black (my score: 5/5) 1x Razer Naga...
Summary: Recently built a smoking gaming computer, so obviously I needed a smoking monitor to go with it. After doing my usual extensive homework on the subject I went with the Foris FS2333-bk. So far so good. Put this thing in gaming mode and started playing COD ghosts. I read one blog online and the guy was saying it has some kind of "military appearance" to it. BULL. Looks like any other monitor to me until you power it up and use it. Nice, very nice.
Summary: After a slew of monitors that really didn't meet my expectations, I am pleased to end the search with the purchase of the EIZO Foris FS23333. Simply put, I am very happy with this monitor's colors and black levels (relative to the other displays I tried). I love the design as well as the height adjustable stand. The remote is also very useful. The speakers weren't a concern for me since I use Bose Companion 2 speakers.
Summary: Pros: Great display, and it even has a gamer mode (looks weird but you can use it I guess) and a paper mode (I love it for reading, which I do a lot of). There's like no input lag. Very nice for gaming. Remote is pretty convenient Cons: Monitor speakers suck. Also, the monitor itself could have been better looking, but that's not a big deal. Other: Kinda pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for here.
Summary: I bought this to replace one of my Samsung pre-IPS monitors (which was dying). The idea was that this monitor would serve as my main monitor for both 3d art creation and texture creation as well as for gaming. I paid the extra premium for this over a Dell in the hopes of getting something as good as my old work Dell for art, but fast for gaming. Big mistake.
Summary: My friend has an Eizo ColorEdge monitor ( not sure which one ) which is fantastic in color rendition, etc. This monitor is, as far as I'm concerned, it's equal visually, for less than half the price. The specs are different, of course, but I'm not a professional photographer, and won't be trying to sell my photos, just getting the best color I can and this monitor delivers! I would recommend this monitor to anyone.
