Eizo Foris FG2421 (240Hz)

FlatpanelsHD
30 October 2013
  • Conclusion: Eizo moved into the PC gaming space a while ago, but didn’t seem to think that 120 Hz TN panels were optimal. Instead they decided to sell optimized 60 Hz IPS-based gaming monitors that didn’t sacrifice picture quality for speed, but didn’t match the speed of 120 Hz TN-based monitors either.
  • Pros: 120 Hz panel, 240 Hz system reduces motion blur, Great picture quality, Very impressive black depth, Color reproduction, Flicker-free
  • Cons: Out-of-box settings could be better, Viewing angles, A bit dim (brightness) when Turbo 240 is activated, 1920x1080 pixels a bit low for some office tasks

  • Conclusion: We really enjoyed testing the FG2421 screen and there were a lot of new features to look at. Eizo and Sharp have done a great job in offering the first 120Hz compatible VA panel on the market, and it doesn't disappoint when it comes to gaming.
  • Pros: Fast pixel response times and no overshoot, 120Hz native refresh rate support and added Turbo 240 motion blur reduction backlight system which works very well, Amazing contrast ratios of ~5000:1
  • Cons: Some issues with colour accuracy after calibration, DCR feature doesn't work at all seemingly, Stand ergonomics a little limited

Eizo Foris FG2421 review

expertreviews.co.uk
30 October 2013
  • Excerpt: The Eizo Foris FG2421 has a couple of firsts to its name. It’s the first monitor with a VA panel to support a 120Hz refresh rate, and it has a special Turbo 240 mode that manipulates the backlight in order to give the illusion of 240Hz, in order to cut down on motion blur.

TEST: Eizo Foris FG2421 - Lynrask spillskjerm

PC World
2 June 2014
  • Excerpt: Det er mye fint med LCD-skjermer. De er tynne, bruker ikke så mye strøm, veier lite, ser stilige ut, og har etter hvert blitt mulig å få til en veldig billig penge.
  • Pros: Rask. Veldig rask. God kontrast. God innsynsvinkel. Fin fargegjengivelse.
  • Cons: Litt "grovt" bilde. Prisen.

Eizo FORIS FG2421 : que vaut vraiment l’écran 240Hz ?

Ere Numérique
12 March 2014
