PC Magazine

  • Conclusion: Designed for users who require extremely accurate color representation, the wickedly expensive EIZO ColorEdge CG222W features color calibration tools to help achieve precise color matching between devices.
  • Pros: Very good color quality. Great light grayscale reproduction. Color calibration capabilities. Fully adjustable stand.
  • Cons: Lacks HDMI input. Expensive. Does not support auto-rotation. Dark grayscale performance could be better.

  • Conclusion: Colour gamut is the ColorEdge CG222W’s big selling point, and it almost covers all of AdobeRGB. Visually this display looks uniform, and there were no problems in out tests with viewing angles. Colours and density seemed to stay the same within a reasonable angle of view compared to most other LCDs.
