Eizo CG223WBK 22

IndyGuy, Adorama
6 August 2013
  • Excerpt: The EIZO CG223 is used for photo editing. It has a 950: 1 contrast ratio which gives color/B&W resolution. It is small enough to fit on a small desk . The hood helps with stray ambient light. The calibration software included with the monitor works with almost any calibration device. I used a Spyder which it recognized immediately. The menu is easy to follow and I was ready in five minutes.Other than the price, I have no complaints.
  • Pros: Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
  • Cons: none

Eizo ColorEdge CG-223W

Mike, B&H Photo
23 March 2013
  • Excerpt: Eizo ColorEdge CG-223W: Because of my natural "cheap" streak, I had been considering monitors such as the Dell-U2410, HP-ZR24W and Asus PA-246Q. After comparing specifications and contradictory reviews for two weeks, I finally came to my senses and purchased the Eizo CG-223W. I find the 16: 10 aspect ratio is a better fit for photographic work than the 16: 9 monitor I had been using.
  • Pros: Adjustable Viewing Angles, Color Gamut, Contrast Ratio, Great picture quality, Small Footprint

  • Excerpt: With the recent price reduction on this product it allowed me to purchase the monitor of choice for editing photographic images. Color editing of rich colors is now possible as I can observe slight color differences even in saturated colors.

Great product

  • Excerpt: I upgraded from a Dell 2407. Decided on the 22" as colors were a bit better and the price difference was to much for my budget to go up to the CG24, FYI.That said, going from a 24" down to a 22" is a little bit of a struggle. I'm use to having more 'room' to spread my apps out on.The color reproduction is amazing. No dead pixels.Monitor is heavy for it's size which I'm sure indicates just how solid it is.Software was easy to install and use.I use an X-Rite i1Display 2 for...

  • Excerpt: My business strives on attention to detail and accuracy of a product. Eizo demand quality and their monitors should not be looked past for accuracy. For professional photography and retouching with absolute accuracy with your chosen printer, look no further. Coupled with a screen calibrator accurate representations of colour can be achieved.
  • Pros: Adjustable Viewing Angles, Great picture quality, Large Viewing Area, Reliable Performance
