Summary: This monitor brings a whole new sense to visualizing the work on a computer. The sheer size of the monitor can be almost overwhelming for the typical computing experience. It would work amazingly well for graphic design or for those jobs requiring in-depth clarity. The monitor turns on quickly The screen is antiglare. The image is in HD and to be honest watching a movie on this screen is almost worth the price alone.
Summary: The documentation that came with the product is fine, clear and well-written. The picture on this monitor is clear, bright and beautiful. I have not had any problems with it failing to wake up from sleep mode. I'm not a PC gamer so I can't comment on that aspect. I have used the monitor with photo editing software and I am very happy with the look and performance. If any issues arise, I will update this review.
Summary: I have a DELL UltraSharp U3011 30" with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 . Excellent monitor. This UltraSharp UP3214Q 31.5" has a fantastic resolution of 3840 x 2160. Now it's very expensive, double the price. But the price is going down so I will buy one when the price will be lower.
Summary: I have two of these side by side for financial modelling on Excel and Bloomberg. There are some bugs when the screen wakes after the computer goes to sleep and wakes. Simply turn the screen off and on and problem solved. I'm running them in 30Hz as I can't get the Catalyst Control Center to work on my machine and configure for 60Hz, but for Excel, etc it works just fine in 30Hz. Great screens and very happy with them.
Summary: This display is incredible, and there is very little else like it. Even upgrading from my previous 30" at 2560x1600, the jump is huge. The only problem is, it's difficult to use anything less. A 27" display looks like a toy. Make sure you have a compatible graphics card to run it. You'll need a free DP (DisplayPort) socket to run it at full resolution @ 60hz. HDMI will only run @ 30hz, which is unsuitable for anything other than movies, in my opinion.
