Summary: If I could give 0 stars I would. Monitor works poorly in 60 Hz (all the below issues, not waking up from sleep, half monitor fuzzy, etc). Tried to fix for first 1.5 months with various graphics card mods, new cables...no luck. Tried to return, but dell doesn't accept returns after one month.
A shame for dell. MST not working properly on this screen.

Summary: MST mode doesn't work properly, as also reported from several other users. Also there is a big thread on the Dell forums which discusses this problem. Be aware before buying this screen. Firmware revisions A, B and C are working very poor in MST.
Summary: When I personally encountered this problem with this monitor, I called Dell Tech Support. Of course I had to speak to an individual who was obviously located halfway around the other side of the world from the USA, and whose English language skills left something to be desired, but I was finally...
Pros: This is an otherwise very capable 4K monitor. If Dell fixes the firmware (rev. A00) it will be a very good bargain for such a large screen 4K monitor
Cons: In order to obtain 4K resolution at 60Hz, it is absolutely necessary to activate this monitor's DisplayPort 1.2 capability. You cannot get 60Hz capability without using the DisplayPort 1.2 protocol. And that's the problem. The firmware being presently shipped with these Dell UP3214Q monitors is, ...
Summary: So, contrary to what my gut feeling suggested and what people warned me around the web, I've bought a Dell UP3214Q. Really, I've been stunned by how good its panel is, how good is the picture, the back-light, the color and its superb resolution of a 4K screen. Until it just turned itself off. Or on.
AVOID LIKE PLAQUE - wait for new model or buy Asus

Summary: Executive summary: I'm starting to feel like throwing this off my balcony or using it as a boat anchor.. Long version: I bought this in May; got -A00 model. Summary of issues: a) pre-10.9.2 OS X didn't support; Apple's flaw, fixed by update.
Dell should pay customers to test this monitor, instead of selling it

Summary: After using this monitor for a month, I can honestly say this beast is a joke. The picture quality is outstanding when the monitor works. But 90% of the time it doesn't. As noted by many REAL online customer reviews, the screen would fail to wake up from sleep.
Summary: Well, as an early adopter, I expect a few minor quirks here and there but this monitor is too much. Occasionally it cuts out and requires unplugging (complete hard reset). However, that is actually tolerable compared to the constant flicker at lower brightness.
Summary: Be warned that some basic functionality is broken on this monitor currently. Sometimes your computer will boot to a half screen and get stuck on a black screen when entering sleep mode or changing resolutions.
Pros: Lots of screen real estate, great for programming work Calibrated well out of the box
Summary: I purchased this monitor from Newegg and returned it as basic functionality is broken on this monitor currently. Sometimes your computer will boot to a half screen displaying and get stuck on a black screen when entering sleep mode or changing resolutions. Not acceptable for a $2300 monitor!
Summary: dell has elected not to support a brand new monitor, what more can one say?
Cons: So, Dell is officially not supporting their product??! ............................... ............................... issue summary---> when using it at its full native resolution in dp1.2 as intended - half the screen literally is black and non functional on many random boots and logins. switch...
