Summary: Purchases this monitor for late 2011 Macbook Pro 17 inch. Needed to use a purchased mini-displayPort to mini0displayPort as the cable that came with the monitor did not work (mini-displayPort-to-DisplayPort. Very pleased. I have many monitors, this is the best one I've used.
Excerpt: The primary use for this monitor is professional photography and graphic reproduction. Set up easliy on my 2.8 Retina 15" MBP. Came with 3 input cables to fit multiple system requirements including my mac.
Pros: Adjustable, Buttons On Front, Cables Included, Easy To Set Up, Instant Accurate Color, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Stable stand
Summary: So far so good in hooking to laptop for use as graphic workstation. Still tweaking setting etc. but display is a winner. Came with a lot of connection cables except one to link 2 monitors, but I have missed it so far as I am still in the set process. Or not need to connect to second monitor at all.

Summary: I now have two Dell 3014 monitors on my computer. I love them. The first one was older generation with USB2 components and I was pleased to see that my new one is USB3. Love the card reader on the side of the monitor for transferring photos from my cameras.
Excerpt: I have been searching for systems that can be controlled like this for a long time. The U2714 is not as good. I found that I needed to upgrade my power supply and video card to be able to handle the video throughput at the full resolution.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Summary: I had heard from other Mac users that the Dell monitors were identical in color and quality to Apple's Cinema Displays, and this Mac user can corroborate those opinions first-hand now: right out of the box, without altering any settings, the picture quality and color and color calibration are...
Summary: Nice monitors. I was replacing two U3011 monitors. Side by side I couldn't tell any large difference in quality. The U3014's are much lighter, so easier to move around my desk. They also run cooler so they don't heat up my office as much.
Excerpt: I replaced two older 23" monitors with this one big bad boy. Though I am still going through some adjustments and withdrawals not having 2 side by side, the quality of this one is great. I don't see any light-bleed or dead pixels and the colors are bright and crisp.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
