Summary: The Dell U3011 LCD Monitor is hands-down one of the nicest monitors on the market. At 30 inches, it's huge and gives a massive amount of screen real estate. The resolution tops out at 2560x1600 and the color is gorgeous. There are an incredible amount of inputs and plenty of options in the menu to customize the features of the display. If you're in the market for a top-of-the-line 30 inch display, this is the one to get.
Top knotch quaity, best in it's class, Highly Recommended for CADD/Revit

Summary: 30" monitors are 10'X better than the best flat screen TV.... ones like this take HDMI and can be used as TV's if you hook a player/tuner up to them. For CAD Related uses there is no other alternative. They save TIME and PAPER... this is one of the best 30 Inch monitors I've used. Dell is a leader when it comes to Monitor construction and ergonomics. Purchased this for business, now I want one for personal use!
Summary: Great monitor - I've had it for a few years now, and the image is ultra-clear (2560x1600 is fantastic), color reproduction is great (I work in photography), and the margins around the screen are not too thick / ugly / glossy / etc. The stand also has a nice wide base for stability. But, there a few design flaws: 1. You can't configure one of the front buttons to be a quick switch to the last input.
Summary: It basically works, except that every once in a while, it freezes, and I have to power-cycle it by unplugging and replugging it. It sometimes insists on taking in input from a different port, and the buttons to change the input don't work. I have to keep pressing them again and again, waiting a few seconds, and trying again, until it works. Monitors are the last things I'm willing to accept bugs in, or have to power-cycle.
Summary: I bought this product as a 2nd monitor for processing images. My iMac 27" provides a glossy LED screen while the Dell a flat mat finish. The monitor controls are easy to adjust and the 30" format is sufficient for my imaging work. However, the monitor was purchased used and has a technical issue where it goes directly into sleep mode when turned on. To correct this, I have to switch off the monitor and switch it back on again.
Summary: I have had this monitor for over a year and loved every minute of it. I use it for AutoCAD and Gaming. I don't need Any anti-aliasing at all as the DPI is so high you don't notice the jagged edges at all. Amazing color, movies look Sweet, games are awesome, love the multiple selectors on the back of the device for multiple input. I have my blu-ray player piped into the HDMI spot, and out through the audio out to my speakers so we can watch blu-rays on the monitor.
Summary: While pricey, this device serves both as my television from eight feet away, and my desktop workstation from two feet away. Crystal clear, no dead pixels, well worth the investment -- although the price is quite steep.
Summary: When it arrived it had a number of defective areas on the screen. It wasn't serious enough to make me return it outright, but over time they make me more and more irritated. Anyways, good monitor, but make sure you are happy with the quality out of the box.
