Summary: My 13” Mid 2010 MacBook Pro and Dell U2713H Display are playing together fine at the maximum resolution supported by the display using the cable provided in the box. Dell made the right move by providing the appropriate cable to go from a mini displayport on a mac to the displayport on the monitor. Without this $5 cable, I would have undoubtedly had additional issues and would have had to hunt up an appropriate adapter to connect to the display.
Summary: Love this monitor! As a pro photographer, color accuracy and viewing angle are a must and this monitor really delivers. I held on to my old Dell CRT for years because it really did well but I finally decided it had to go. I 'upgraded' to a 27" Planar monitor and was instantly disappointed with it. Viewing angle was terrible so I could never really tell when my photos were exposed correctly. Then I learned about IPS and I'll never go back.
Summary: I've had this monitor for a few weeks and it's great! Colors seems accurate, although I don't have an analyzer to confirm. Mine came with a factory calibration readout showing that it had been tested by Dell for color accuracy. Mine is a rev A06. I haven't had any issues with the USB or touch buttons as another reviewer mentioned.
Summary: I wanted this primarily since I am a semi-professional photographer and wanted a monitor that would display my pictures more accurately, and at the largest size I normally print - 13" x 19". This is superb for that use. One note of caution - it comes with optional calibration software from X-rite, which requires you to purchase the i1Display Pro to actually use that software. That is not self-evident.
