Good until it failed, then *horrible* tech support from Dell
Amazon Customer, Amazon
10 January 2014
Summary: I purchased this monitor in August of 2013. I installed it with no trouble, and it worked for four months. Then the right side of the screen turned green. Kinda weird, not something I've seen before (and I've seen a lot -- I've been in I.T. for 25 years), but it's obviously some kind of hardware failure. By this time, it's out of Amazon's normal return policy, but "no problem", it's under Dell's 3-year warranty, right? Well... Maybe.
Summary: I bought two of these elsewhere for the most obvious of all reasons; however, I usually stick with amazon. Anyway, I am on my third as I type this reply and I will say this much: I would give the monitors I have had 3 stars probably two; reason: my original two had completely different colors (I don't know a lot of monitor jargon so bear with me) for example: I would open a word doc.
Summary: This Monitor has all the right in ingredients, however the execution by Dell is poor to say the least. The Good: - All the connectivity you could wish for, including SD card reader and DP 1.2 support. - Solid build quality - Wide Color Gammut The Bad: - Non uniform backlight, varys from device to device. Mine was ok, collegue had a horrible one. - Display stand is not stiff enough to hold back the force of pressing the power button with a single finger.
Summary: абсолютно не стоит запрошенных бренд-фирмой денег, в китайском исполнении цена завышена минимум на треть, пишут, бывают чешские, может там положение лучше
Pros:
