Summary: If you want for a mac don't buy it. don't even waist your time. I chatted with a Dell representative before ordering and she told me this monitor would work in a Mac. But not really. I called the DELL customer service after I got the monitor and went thru 5 different technicians, and nobody has any idea how a mac works.
Summary: What a terrible experience!!! I purchased two U2713H, the seller shipped two different revision to me (A01/A02). My setup is daisy chained DP from Radeon HD 69xx and both monitors are calibrated with i1 Display Pro, so far the A01 panel looks okay but with some uniformity problem, the A02 is terrible with serious uniformity problem and uneven color.
Summary: On paper, this monitor sounds great but I recently picked one up and discovered that the USB 3.0 Hub is completely defective on the vast majority of versions out there. If you plug the USB cable into a USB 2.0 connector on your motherboard or use only USB 2.0 devices, then the problem does not appear, but as soon as you use a USB 3.0 connector and a USB 3.0 device, the Hub fails to function.
Summary: After a few years with a 30" Dell 3007WFP I decided to switch to an LED backed 27" Dell for a few reasons: - although the new one has more input lag, it has many more port options - although it's slightly smaller and lower resolution, it's much more energy efficient - although it doesn't have a CF card slot, the slots and ports it does have are USB 3.0, not USB 2.0 like on the 3007WFP.
Summary: I am an old and non technical buyer.the monitor has a known issue with USB3 , it does not communicate with my laptop.nowhere was I made aware that Dell would only permit calibration by using an Xrite 1 pro costing £179.00. It is possible that I received a " grey" import from Amazon but the enclosed " instructions" were a copy of a very complex technical review that gave no guide as to how to install. They did not provide the promised driver.
Beware - Monitor is NOT new - Item been registered with Dell before!

Summary: Hi, I am returning this Monitor for the reasons described below: - Colours are not accurate. It is a wide-gamut display, but it cannot be adjusted properly to sRGB colours (standard) - permanent GREEN tint. - some backlight bleeding (but less than with the U2713HM I tried - which is going back as well) - The picture is not as crisp as with an sRGB monitor, especially since the colours/contract/brightness cannot be adjusted properly without using hardware calibration.
Can't handle any form of motion, even a window scroll!
5 June 2013
Summary: I found this monitor unusable, any motion is blurred with distracting shadows either side. Dell confirmed this is a 'feature' and a few web sites mention it but not the main review sites, which is odd as basically if you scroll anything or move a window the shadows and blurring made my eyes ache. Forget showing a video or even basic photo editing, unfortunate for such a high end (expensive!) monitor.
