A superb monitor, even today

William C. Wayne, Amazon
20 April 2011
  • Summary: Probably designed to compete with the Apple Cinema Displays of its time, this monitor is admittedly more expensive than some new monitors with the same dimensions and resolution - and it lacks HDMI and DisplayPort, as they were either not common or not available at the time...luckily, there are HDMI to DVI and DisplayPort to DVI adapters. What you don't get with most newer monitors, however, is the quality of this model which is nothing short of excellent.

Big, cool and classy monitor

bestdefense22, Ebay
7 May 2010
  • Summary: I bought a Dell 2707WFP 27" LCD monitor direct from Dell about 2 years ago and loved it. I use it at my law office. It is a 1920 X 1200 resolution beast and it has proven to be the MINIMUM sized monitor that will give side-by-side full-page display on a single monitor that is clearly legible to 43 year old eyes. The best 24" LCD monitors simply won't do it. I paid over $1,000.00 in late 2007. Recently I opened another office location and bought a used 2707WFP on ebay.

Dell UltraSharp 2707WFP 27-inch Wide-Screen Flat Panel

shortcircuit480v, Ebay
8 September 2009
  • Summary: I love it, it is so clear and the colors are so much brighter. UltraSharp is just what it is. Owning a Dell computer I wanted a Dell Flat Panel LCD Monitor to go with it. The Price was right and I now have it with no regrets.

Great Monitor for the price

Octavio N. Ortiz, Amazon

  • Summary: This is a great monitor when it came out in 2007. The new one is better and has HDMI but its more expensive and is only in black. Despite being an older model, this bad boy has a lot of connections works great with HD Movies. I use this with my MAC PRO and it works just as good as any other expensive model. I would have bought a larger more expensive 30" monitor from apple but since apple didn't offer any other connections or even a card reader, i choose this.

Great piece of equipment

bobyellin, Ebay
15 May 2009
  • Summary: I use this for CAD design work using Solidworks. It is a quality monitor, with great build quality and a stunning image when using a DVI connection. I recommend it highly. Dell's newer models may have faster processing speeds, but the build quality is simply not the same.

Dell Ultra Sharp 2707WFP 27" LCD monitor

Bill Prime "hogjaws", Amazon
16 August 2008
  • Summary: This is my second 2707 monitor. I had a little trouble locating it because Dell already has a successor to it, but I want to have two identical monitore to use simultaneously. I haven't receive shipment on the second one yet, but the first one is a great monitor. It's my first LCD monitor in the 32 years that I've been using computers. The display is very clear, and the colors are bright. Please get the specs from Dell, or someone that carries the monitor.

Huge and Stylish monitor

hondabikerescue, Ebay
9 May 2008
  • Summary: A gorgeous monitor and the largest I've ever owned. Just looks great aesthetically and performs very well. Brightness is unbelievable - had to tone it down. Silver metal finish is a nice change from the normal drab black or greys. Monitor is very adjustable for something of this size. The extra USB ports and Card slots are a nice bonus.

"Bling-Bling" monitor that Rocks!

qmc777, Ebay
5 December 2007
  • Summary: This is definitely Dell's most impressive flat-panel monitor to date. Aside from the INSANE 27-inches of viewing real estate 3 feet away from your face, it’s loaded with all the bells and whistles you’ll need, from multi-memory card readers to multiple USB ports down to the DVI-D port, this thing is loaded. Forget about the lack of an HDMI port, do some research and you’ll see they’re problematic. As for performance, didn’t I say that this thing ROCKS!?

Work Of Art

erryke, Ebay
5 December 2007
  • Summary: I LOVE this monitor!!! Not only does it have an incredibly sharp display and excellent color/clarity, but it's beautifully designed as well. You can tilt/adjust the display, raise the height, hide the cables in the built-in cable holder, the display bevel is silver, polished black glass base with chrome accents, chrome display arm on back. Monitor has built-in USB ports and memory card reader. You can't ask for more.
