Dell 2707WFP

CNET
18 April 2008
  • Summary: The Dell UltraSharp 2707WFP is expensive and not quite up to the task for professional imaging, but its elegant design, big screen, and copious extras will appeal to those with a big budget.
  • Pros: Elegant design; practical size; excellent geometry, brightness, and contrast; four USB 2.0 ports; memory card slots.
  • Cons: Expensive; uniformity, ghosting, and color-tracking artifacts that would matter less if the display were cheaper; no HDMI interface; lacks some important settings; generates a lot of heat.

  • Summary: Despite all of the display's notable qualities, $1999 is still a fairly high price to pay. Nevertheless, for people who crave a monitor with great image quality, useful extra ports, and a sleek design, the Dell 2707WFP can't be beat.
  • Pros: Excellent image quality with easy to access inputs.
  • Cons: Very expensive

  • Summary: The sure-fire way of making your PC the talk of the town is to match it up with the largest display you can afford. The 27in Dell would be an excellent candidate.
