Summary: I ordered a 2408WPF (1900x1200 native resolution) which was originally a $500+ monitor and has the 2 DVI-D connections I need to swap the dual monitor set up between 2 different PCs. I received a wide screen 1080p max resolution media monitor that only has 1 DVI-D connection. I ordered this to match my existing 2408WPF monitor as my other matching monitor is failing.
Great monitor for the whole family to enjoy without squinting!

Summary: Works and functions great, gaming and web sites pop out at you. Stunning color and clarity switch between programs with, for movie watching, either letterbox, streaming or widescreen; with dual DVI I can switch between viewing and web sites. Features; HDMI make cable tv viewing fantastic with full range of color and contrast. Multiple usb, card slots and video inputs right at hand to copy DVD's, music and other genres with ease. Makes a great tv monitor at 24".
Summary: I've owned this monitor for over 3 years and it has worked great the entire time. It has USB and card readers built into the side which are very convenient. The color accuracy is adequate for working with photos and printing images. The brightness goes higher than you will need, as does the contrast. I will definitely get another Dell monitor in the future.
Summary: I bugged this seller with several questions, all of which he answered very quickly and politely. I decided to buy it since it seemed to be a good deal, and I know diddly squat about monitors. The shipping was very fast, too. This was a gift for my husband, who was away at the time, and he just got home a few days ago. He set it up within just a couple of hours of being home. He fiddled with the settings for a while, switched out a cable, and viola!
Summary: The Dell 2408WFP is a wonderful monitor. I bought my first in 2008, and its still going strong. The picture quality is amazing, you get 1920 X 1200 resolution which brings needed extra screen real estate and there are plenty of inputs for all of your video needs, including 2 DVI, 1 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI, 1 Component and others. I also like that I can use the monitor as a USB hub and it also accepts memory cards.
Summary: The good: Strong overall performance; its tried-and-true design is both aesthetically pleasing and practical; video connections galore. The bad: Cool preset mode is too blue; no digital audio connection. The bottom line: The 24-inch Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP display delivers across the board in performance, design, and features. It excelled with movies and games, making it not only an excellent choice as an entertainment display, but also great for everyday Windows tasks.
Summary: This is my second Dell 2408WFP I do various tasks, and utilize two monitors simultaneously. I had my first Dell then used another Dell monitor for my second, it just didn't match up. So I found the same model here and purchased it. Now both monitors are completely in sync. I have optimized them both with my Spyder Elite and now I'm in business. Great color quality, natural, vibrant, realistic. I am so pleased with this product. Dell Delivers!
Difficult to calibrate and failing after 3 years of use

Summary: I've had this monitor for just over 3 years. It only outlasted the manufacturer 3 year warranty by 5 months. From the beginning, I found it very difficult to accurately calibrate this monitor (using Spyder 3 Pro). I expected a lot more from a monitor that cost $600 when it first came out. In contrast I have a much less expensive low end Sharp LCD monitor still going strong after 7 years of heavy use. Definitely will not be purchasing another monitor from Dell.
Over Priced, over bright, failed at six months, poor service

Summary: At first this seems like a terrific monitor, but it's only after using it for a few weeks that I began to see its drawbacks. I bought it on the recommendation on several boards that this was good for photography work. Number one, it's too damn bright. I tried using it with the Xyrite Eye One calibrator. I was never able to get it to calibrate to anything consistent from calibration to calibration, sometimes I would get wildly wrong colors.
