Summary: I was shipped the WFP-HC instead of the regular WFP. Kind of annoying with the true white next to the off white, but I have gotten used to it and use one for videos and the other for everything else. The monitor itself is very nice. Decently sized, the dell mound is very sturdy and offers both portrait and landscape viewing. The build in USB and SD reader are nice. What can I say, its a solid monitor for a great price.
Summary: I decided to get the 2407WFP because of my previously great experiences with Dell Ultrasharp monitors, the amazing specs, the many video inputs, and great reviews. I bought two of these around 2 years ago and still love them. I write code on these monitors, I game on these monitors, and I use these monitors with standard applications such as internet and word processing. These monitors can do it all.
Summary: Have two of these connected to my work station @ home. Amazing quality with excellent color and fast refresh rates. I have them hooked up to a pair of Radeon HD 7850's in crossfire and they simply wow me everytime. Games, movies, music videos everything looks great. No ghosting on games and the fonts are crisp clear. I paid SIGNIFICANTLY more than what is listed here and I can say that I have greatly enjoyed my investment for over 6 years now.
Summary: These monitors are perfect. Great refresh rate and incredible picture quality. Since this model has now been replaced and is no longer available I'm hoping to upgrade to the latest and greatest when I can. I've never had a problem with any of the DELL 24" monitors I've had. I wasn't impressed at all with how the seller packaged and sent. Not Amazon but an Amazon seller.
Summary: I bought eight of these in 2006 when they were at a higher price and they are good (on one machine in two Chief monitor holders [hard to position perfectly] on a Dell 690 using NVIDA 285/295 cards). I use them six (sometimes seven) days a week 8 to 10 hours a day and they are still clear and sharp (exactly six years later, 2012) with at 1960x1200 resolution with brightness of 1000. I no longer look at any other monitors except Dell Ultra Sharp or better.
Summary: I now have 4 of these - 2 at work, and 2 at home - and they are fantastic. I have yet to have any issues with them, and I have had all but this one for 5+ years. I was worried buying this one refurbished, but since I wanted it to match my other flat panel exactly, I decided to go that way, and I have not been disappointed.
Summary: The good: Excellent image quality; full array of video ports; picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture options; USB hub; HDCP. The bad: Slightly wobbly base; onscreen menu is tricky to navigate. The bottom line: Dell's 24-inch wide-screen LCD delivers excellent image quality and a ton of connectivity options, including video inputs and picture-in-picture settings. Add in a great price, and the Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP is the best value in its class.
