Summary: I had read mixed reviews on this monitor, but what caught my eye was a report I read that said Dell intro'd this thing in the $1,200 neighborhood. I hope nobody paid that much for this thing but its a terrific monitor. OK, I bought this used.
Summary: These monitors are perfect. Great refresh rate and incredible picture quality. Since this model has now been replaced and is no longer available I'm hoping to upgrade to the latest and greatest when I can. I've never had a problem with any of the DELL 24" monitors I've had.
Summary: Purchased a computer and 24" monitor direct from Dell. Got the computer in a week, the monitor never showed. A couple dozen emails, phone calls - one customer service rep actually asked me to call back when their systems came back online - and no monitor.
Summary: The Dell 2407WFP has a bad power button, which appears to be an inherent design flaw in the product. Note that even under pretty light usage, it went bad. Do a google search for "2407WFP power button" and you'll gets lots of results showing others having the same problem.
Summary: I bought eight of these in 2006 when they were at a higher price and they are good (on one machine in two Chief monitor holders [hard to position perfectly] on a Dell 690 using NVIDA 285/295 cards).
Wonderfully sharp picture, with lots of features and a 3 year warranty.

Summary: After weighing out all the pros and cons of the various 24" monitors I settled on three brands: HP, Samsung and Dell. I was purchasing an HP Pavilion Elite desktop and thought I would get the HP monitor until I started reading the specs of each one and comparing warranties.
Summary: I loved this display until it stopped working. Owned it for 13 months before the power button broke and the monitor was stuck in the off position. A quick search will reveal that this is not an isolated incidence but clearly a design flaw. Keep looking and you'll find many posted workarounds.
Summary: I was looking for a monitor that I could use with my MacBook Pro and my Xbox 360. I decided to get the 2407WFP-HC because of Dell's great reputation with monitors, the amazing specs, the many video inputs, and great reviews.
Summary: I own three of these monitors setup horizontally on my desk. Each one has worked very well over the last couple years. None had dead pixels out of the box - pristine condition. A big plus in my book. But recently one of them has developed 3 dark pixels in a clump on the screen.
