What a beast of a monitor - just keeps on rocking.

Summary: I am a photographer, and in my home-built tower I have 2 GeForce 9800 GT video cards - each with 2 DVI sockets allowing me to support a total of 4 monitors. For many years I have had 3 monitors connected.
Summary: This Dell monitor is incredible! The screen is so wide that I can have two or three web pages up at once - which is great for increasing efficiency with work! I save so much time now that I don't have to constantly switch between screens (plus you can compare things side by side much more easily).
Summary: I do web and graphic design as a hobby and I got to a point where I felt I could benefit from a big screen monitor, boy was I right! I love the size of the screen, I can have multiple programs/documents open at the same time and I can see them side by side.
Summary: I am now on my second 2405FPW monitor, and it looks like it is going back as well. The first one I thought was defective, but after looking at the second one and others out in the field, it appears that my issues are prettty much a result of the design.

Summary: 24 inches of monstrous HDTV-quality liquid crystal... And its multi-format card reader is a bonus I never expected when I first won this screen from an eBay auction. This is definitely the perfect screen for wide-screen DVDs, 3D games, and (guess it) artistic manifestation!
Summary: This monitor is beautiful, had a small issue that could have been cleared up by a normal CS agent, instead turned into a 3 week fiasco, DELL customer service is HORRIBLE, I will never purchase another product from them again, EVER!
Summary: As always only buy a product from Dell if you don't need a lot of customer service, which means doing your homework ahead of time. This is a great working computer monitor, i have no interest in using the hdtv input side of it so i can't comment on anything except its use as a graphic/multimedia...
Summary: Having previously owned a Sony 24" CRT, I have been a bit spoiled by expansive computer desktop space. After that monitor was stolen from a parked vehicle in NYC, there was a void in gadget arsenal.
