Summary: when buying this older model monitor you run the chance you could get something old and worn out, well i did, the monitors i bought were indeed old and worn out, i needed to use them in a dual setup and just could not get the colors,sharpness nor brightness close enough to use side by side, i tried them on seversl machines and also tried using with a new video card, no luck, the computer store said "face it, dell hasn't offered this for some time"
Summary: I've had two of these for about a year. Believe it or not, yellow tape inside each monitor started coming loose and slipping down between the backlight and display surface, causing a yellow rectangular shape to appear in the upper left corner of each monitor. Search Dell's web site and you'll find similar complaints (and even photos) from other consumers. Note that several had the same problem with the newer 2007FP.
Pros: Good price for a 20" flat panel display, but substandard picture quality took away that value
