Summary: I inherited a 2001FP from my parents in 2005 as they were tossing their broken 2003 vintage OptiPlex, and let me just say that I haven't needed to purchase another monitor since. In fact, I just bought another 2001FP a couple weeks ago. Like new for around $60. A steal! going on 11 years and the monitors are still in nearly perfect condition!
Although when I recieved it it was busted at the top like someone dropped it

Summary: Cheap for the price of the product... Although when I recieved it it was busted at the top like someone dropped it... Was also packaged very poorly.. Works but looks all dinged up... Does have picture in picture as well as various other hook up capabilities..
Summary: Bought two of these from a reseller of units pulled from service. No idea how old they are exactly, but they both work perfectly. Lots of inputs and options, but no HDMI (uses DVI). I bought mine from KNN3 Sales. Packaging and shipping was good and fast. Power supplies WERE included, but probably should ask before purchasing.
Summary: One of the better 4:3 monitors still left out there. 1600x1200 resolution, USB 2.0 hub built in, adjustable stand, external power brick are some of the options. Brightness not as bright as a newer LED monitor. Response rate not as fast as newer monitors, but that's to be expected as these are several years old.
Summary: This monitor was purchased used. I don't know how many hours/years it has accumulated, but there is nothing about it that seems inferior to a new unit. All features work, there is no visible defect. The stand is well designed and sturdy. All in all, just what I wanted. Low price, as-promised delivery time, great condition and performance...adds up to five stars from me. It's a great shame is that the 4:3 aspect ratio is all but obsolete.
Summary: I've had this monitor for 6 years now and it is still the clearest monitor I've ever owned. For 5 years now this has been my slave (secondary) monitor, yet it has always put every other screen I've placed next to it to shame with regards to clarity (60hz refresh though). I actually don't understand how this is possible. The clarity and brightness of this screen still blows me away. I wish I could find a widescreen monitor with this vibrancy, yet I haven't.
this model is old... take a shot maybe you'll get a good one

Summary: when buying this older model monitor you run the chance you could get something old and worn out, well i did, the monitors i bought were indeed old and worn out, i needed to use them in a dual setup and just could not get the colors, sharpness nor brightness close enough to use side by side, i tried them on seversl machines and also tried using with a new video card, no luck, the computer store said "face it, dell hasn't offered this for some time"
