Summary: WARNING: When I got the monitor, it was screwed on longways (When I put it on the desk the buttons were on the left going up and down and everything was sideways) to the post. Luckily I know about computers so I disassembled and fixed it myself.
Summary: There are dull spots on the monitor, maybe something pressed against it before it was packaged? When it's white screen, you can't tell, but black screen shows it. The monitor itself is nice, shipped with VGA and power cable.
Summary: This is a great monitor but not as good as the last two that I had purchased. The color is vastly different. The brightness is also vastly different. I paid more for it and it is NOT an Ultrasharp.
Summary: This Dell 1908FP is not as Ultra Sharp as my old Dell 1504P. When I bought this Dell Ultra Sharp 1908FP LCD monitor, I thought the picture quality will be the same as my old Dell Ultra Sharp 1504P. No, not at all close. My desktop background is a picture of a nice colorful garden.
Summary: My local Public Library use dozens of these for both the public Internet connections & the Library staff terminals. I often use them there. Also means there are umpteen around (Ebay) for maybe £40. They are 19" 5 x 4 ratio 1280 x 1024 Max resolution. You can choose 60Hz or 75Hz refresh.
Excerpt: Firstly I'd like to say that this is the first review I've written on anything IT related, so if it's completely rubbish please let me know and I'll try to improve it or at least know better for next time!
