Summary: I purchased three of these monitors to have a very large continuous desktop. They are bright and provide good color. No issues with gaming either. Due to the screen being ultrawide, the screen near the left and right edges are slightly darker and you can start seeing through the LCD.
Summary: Wow. If you work with project plans or especially large amounts of accounting/financial information, this monitor will absolutely spoil you. WAY better than 2 x 24" monitors; just doesn't even compare.
Summary: I have not run into as significant light bleed as some of the other reviewers have. One additional plus to this monitor....you know those panoramic photos you have been taking with your phone? You can finally view them as they were meant to be viewed!!
Summary: I wanted a monitor for my den to conduct work (Excel, Minitab, etc). I paired this with a smaller, lower resolution Dell for a dual-monitor setup. The result was a good one. The monitor is very attractive, but most importantly, form follows function.
Performs great for reviewing black and white photos

Summary: I use an older version of this monitor at work (U2412) and thought this would be "good enough" for my amateur photography. It certainly is! This one has a very small bezel and the blacks seem very nice. I'm not that fussy, however, so take my input with a grain of salt.
Summary: This is a at home version of the Thunderbolt display that I have at work (at least for me). I love it!!! The graphics are awesome. The text is clear, I've read that some people have problems with the buttons / menu, but not me. This monitor is awesome.

Summary: Great monitor when it doesn't have any screen anomalies and doesn't quit working. It goes into power save mode at will (even when my power mode setting is set to 'Never'). I basically get to use the monitor about 1/2 my work day and that is about it.
Memory hog issues on Dell xps15-Make sure to update Dell and Intel system drivers
2 February 2016
Summary: Great monitor BUT at least on the new Dell xps15 laptop I have been having memory issues that I traced to the drivers installed for this monitor. Basically, an older version of dell premiercolor driver and Intel he graphics 530/p530 driver were combining to cause dell premiercolor to eat up...
Summary: The size, picture quality, and curve all excellent. Nice touch controls. Multiple inputs, including a full size DisplayPort and mini-DisplayPort, and USB connections. The curve is hardly noticeable but it is a big benefit.
Excerpt: Tough decision between this screen and Dell's 27in LCD or 24in LCD. While 24in is pretty solid, 27 does give you meaningful extra space, and 29 has a very unique aspect ratio. I decided to go with the 29 because I often want to view panoramas at the highest resolution possible.
