Great performance for it's price

  • Excerpt: If you are into photography and video editing then you must know how important it is to get a reference correct color. I had done some extensive research and within this price range Dell seemed to be the best option and it did not disappoint. Its slick good looking slim and all of that. Most important the color is not graded, flat and you get what you see. The only missing point was the HDMI port.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors

Very Nice Monitor

Dave, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I bought two of these to replace my old outdated mismatched monitors. The one thing that really caught my attention was that it was a 16: 10 ratio and had height adjustments. Those are two feature that seem to be hard to find anymore. The extra height of the 16: 10 is really nice, it makes the monitors feel much bigger than the 24" 16: 9s. I had to buy a DVI to HDMI adapter since my video card only had one DVI out. Colors are vivid and the text is crisp.

  • Summary: I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing by ordering this monitor sight unseen and going only on peoples reviews. I am so glad I just did it. Super happy, and I am picky!

Asus or Dell, that is the question.

HP708, Amazon
12 June 2014
  • Summary: I had two 16:10 LG monitors and at 9 months one went south. LG quit making them so they are issuing a refund. LG's customer service to this point is excellent btw. So, I ended up here looking for another comparable monitor for my dual monitor setup. In the price range it boils down to this Dell model and an Asus. If you are looking at these you will know which Asus I am speaking of. I read and researched forever it seemed and came up with two options.

Excellent entry level IPS panel

Andrew, B&H Photo
14 May 2014
  • Excerpt: After some research I decided I wanted the following. 1. IPS panel (better than TN for photos) 2. 24" (27" is too big for my desk) 3. 1920x1200 4. sRGB color space The Dell came up as a top pick and the few others in the price range used the same panel, but were more expensive. This one calibrated well using the x-rite Color Munki and I am satisfied.

Great Value

Kruegs, B&H Photo
23 April 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought this monitor for photo editing after getting frustrated when my prints were coming back much darker than they appeared on my laptop screen. I calibrated the monitor the day it arrived and have been very pleased with my prints. I'm just a hobbyist photographer and cannot compare the monitor to higher end displays, but it meets my needs very well without breaking the bank. I would buy the monitor again and recommend it to other hobbyists.

Dell U2412M vs. Asus PA248Q

Edgar Corona, Amazon
16 April 2014
  • Summary: This is a review based on my experiences between the Asus PA248Q and the Dell 2412M monitors. I am focusing on the aspects that no specs webpage will tell you. Introduction: I started out with two Asus PA248Q monitors. One fell victim of the known flickering issue, so I returned it and paired it with a Dell U2412M with the intention of using both. However, I am now returning the Asus PA248Q mainly because I discovered that it has more input lag than the Dell.
