Great Monitor But Bad Revision with A Yellow Tint Revision A00
22 July 2013
Summary: This is one of the best monitors out in the market today. You can't go wrong with this monitor if you want to play video games, edit photos or just surf the internet. I am currently the owner of one of these monitors for the past year and have been so happy with it that I decided to purchase another. Well I read that many people had been receiving monitors revision A00 with build dates in 2013 that had a yellow tint.
Summary: Excellent 16:10 premium monitor. Using it for general purpose applications. Excellent price to performance value. With the competitive pricing you get convenience of multiple monitor setup on reasonable budget.
Summary: I have an old 2209wa monitor with LCD back light. From what I have seen, the coating is much better then on 2412M model. Sharpness is about the same but brightness is much higher on 2412M even after calibration the screen is difficult to read, it hearts my eyes. Text mode is a little better but still is too bright. It is 6 bit panel, previous models where 8 bit, gamut is very limited and it is the same as my 2209wa. srgb 95%, adobe rgb 80%.
