Summary: Great monitors for programming. Especially like that they go to portrait mode with the included stand, without needing an additional VESA mount. The multitude of connection options and the included USB hub and card readers are great too. I was debating between these and the u2410's, and I'm glad I saved the money and went with these. For coding they do everything I could ask and are easy on the eyes.
Excerpt: Incredible sharpness and decent colour reproduction. The 16:10 ratio is also great giving you more usable vertical space. Only complaint is the lack of HDMI port. This is a great monitor at a good price for those concerned with colour accuracy while on a budget. Photographers, graphic designers...
Summary: Great display! Adjusted the color profile to MultiMedia from defaults, to reduce the brightness & bluish cast, and all is good. My old 2007WFP was a little more polished for the stand and the button controls, but this is a great value monitor in the price range.
Summary: Combine the IPS panel (which DOES make a difference) with the 1900x1200 resolution, and the cost of entry, and you have the makings of a great value. No "ghosting" for games (contrary to what some would have you believe), and the image quality is fantastic. The only negative I have for it is the obvious- the lack of an HDMI connection. I happened to not be using HDMI anyway, so this monitor worked for me.
Summary: I have two of these at work side by side. Prices have really come down over the years. My only beef is that I have not been able to configure it to be a second monitor for my Dell Laptop especially when logged in to GoToMyPC. Still waiting for my IT folks to tell me how to do this.
