Very nice monitor for the price, anti-glare takes a little getting used to

Summary: I bought two of the Dell u2412m monitors that I'm using on a Mac Mini for software development. Since I look at a lot of code all day long, text clarity is very important to me. I also use the monitors for graphics design and editing, so color performance and contrast is important as well. I also work in an environment where I have a lot of outside light coming in (including a window behind my chair), so an anti-glare coating was critical for me.

Summary: Everything is great about this product. I love the anti-glare on it. I dont know how people can work on machines today without it. The price you pay for this LCD and what you get in terms of quality is dirt cheap. Only downsides are; 1. the power cable doesn't have a tight fit so it always disconnects when adjusted and 2. due to its ability to be twisted sideways (for coding) it has a slight kink to the right.
Summary: I ordered this monitor to replace an old HP monitor that had 3 lines of dead pixels in it. I needed a monitor that I could calibrate for Lightroom and Elements photo work. I research items heavily before I make a purchase. This one was in the price range that I could afford, and the reviews were very helpful in making my decision. The 1920x1200 16:10 ratio gives me a ton of space for all my needs.
Summary: When I was deciding on a monitor, the whole Dell UltraSharp line was brought up again and again. It's safe to say they have a reputation for quality monitors. Of course, they come at a premium. I'd imagine some people wonder what that premium gets. Well, to be fair, I don't necessarily think this will be worth it versus lower-priced competitors for everyone, but it was for me.
Summary: This is my second Dell U2412M monitor on my computer and I like it very much. Using two 24" monitors is enjoyable and allows you to do more with your computer. Resolution of 1920 X 1200 is also nice. This newest one seems to be improved in white performance over the one I had purchased 6 months ago. Now I wish I could buy another new one to match better, but it's ok. Overall, I love these monitors!
Summary: I have had this monitor for about three weeks. It is used as a desk-top display for my MacBookPro 13" with a Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter I am very pleased that its performance has met my expectations. I recommend it highly.
Summary: I've had the monitor a little over a month now. I appreciate the superior image quality, color, screen size and stand adjustment range compared to my old 22" TN 1680x1050 monitor. I use it mainly for internet use and RPG/MMO gaming. I do have a Spyder4 Elite colormeter and using that for calibration I have very clean, bright whites and deep blacks. Colors are vivid and true (99% sRBG after calibration). * Gaming response is great for the type of games I play.
Summary: My boyfriend bought this monitor for himself as a present for getting a raise. He needed a new monitor pretty bad lol. He absolutely loves this one. It is a great price for it!! So glad we bought it.
Summary: Purchased this monitor to replace an older Viewsonic panel. I was looking for a monitor to use for a variety of tasks including video games. So far this panel has performed flawlessly. The color reproduction is particularly impressive, especially seeing it side-by-side with an older-style TN panel. Highly recommend this monitor!
