Excerpt: I use this for web, documents, office, graphics design, photo and video work. The size and clarity have improved my workflow and productivity. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends. Did not think the adjustability would matter, but it does.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Excerpt: Decent colour and contrast, although this is my second one, bought a year a part and I had a hard time colour matching. I wish it had HDMI, but my new MacBook retina has 2 display/thunderbolt ports so I just had to order a second adapter for another $30.
Summary: It seems to be hard to find a good 1920 x 1200. This fit the bill. It has only been in service a few days, but no problems and everything is working. I noticed that, out of the box, the color quality is better than the more costly (smaller) unit that it replaced. Packaging was excellent and secure. This was put on a Linux (Ubuntu) machine.
Summary: This is my second Dell U2412M monitor. I like the 1920x1200 resolution. Monitors with that resolution are few and far between. The extra 120 lines of vertical resolution is great on web pages. I use 2 monitors on both my computers. It is nice to have the same resolution on all monitors. The color is excellent also.
Summary: Bought this as a companion to my now aging WFP2407, which was/is an excellent and reliable monitor. Other than the high pitch whine, which isn't too much of an issue since I am almost always wearing headphones, doesn't bode too well in my eyes for reliability; not a fan of non-moving parts making noise.
