Summary: At 2 bills, this is a phenomenal monitor (I paid one-hundred-ninety-nine U.S.). I am tempted to get another. It doesn't appear these are made any longer (written 27MAR14) but Amazon appears to have some left. My main monitor is the LG 27EA83.
Summary: I really wanted to join the 5 star bandwagon on these which is the primary reason I ordered two of them. Having some Dell panels that are many years old now I assumed these would be quality monitors.
Summary: Decided to upgrade from a TN monitor Acer x223w to play BF4. I mainly use it for gaming and movies, so I was hesitant to buy because of the 8ms response time. I'm a hardcore gamer and honestly I didn't see any ghosting or anything that'll affect gameplay.
Pros: Pros: Vibrant colors, view angle without any loss of coloration, and adjustable stand.
Cons: Cons: Not really a con but minor upgrade from a TN monitor, an upgrade nevertheless.
Summary: After my 7 year old monitor died last week, I found this one by reading reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. It came this afternoon. The hardest part of setting it up was getting it out of the box. I like to take things out gently, and store all the packing in the attic for future use.
Summary: I purchased this as a secondary monitor for my iMac (late 2012 version). One of the key features I needed was the 90° rotation. Before I had the adapter to connect to the iMac, I hooked it up to my old Windows laptop. The picture was TERRIBLE and I nearly sent it back.
Pros: Excellent picture, great flexibility, great price. On screen menus can be rotated to work when screen is rotated, buttons can be customized for frequently used functions.
Cons: Initially, the monitor is set to optimize energy savings which does not provide the best picture. To get the most out of this display, you need to tweak the settings to get it where you like it.
