Summary: Despite some negativity in previous reviews, I find this 24" monitor as a great bargain alternative to Dell UltraSharp U2410: it's priced less than half. Pros: Great Picture Quality, Large Viewing Area, Reliable Performance Cons: Lacks Height Adjustability. Solution: If Needed Add Extra Riser.
Summary: I had been shopping for a new monitor that was bigger. Working from home and using my old monitor just wasn't working out. I did alot of pricing and found this one at Walmart for $219.00. I was impressed it was a Dell and since I did Site to Store, I didn't have to pay for Shipping, which was great!
Summary: A very good monitor. Clear and bright. Used mainly for web browsing for which it's perfect. Had some issues with color (under)saturation, however, setting the color mode to 'Game' has improved it immeasurably. I run it through DVI. I purchased it as a companion for my Dell S2409W.
Summary: I bought a set of these to replace my Samsung 226BW 22" monitors. I will say even though the 22"s were a wee bit clearer after adjusting everything and upgrading the video card they completely rock. I used a dual setup with a Nvidia 9500GS card with no issue and now upgrading to a ATI HD5770 card.
Summary: It was a very simple Plug'n Play situation for my Mac Pro (Early 2009). Note that only a VGA cable is included in the box, so I had ordered the Dell 6.5ft DVI-D Male/Male Display Cable (A0497000). The DVI-D cable connects directly to the Mac Pro DVI-D female connector--no adapter required.
