Summary: The stand does not allow for a height adjustment, neither can the screen be rotated at all! The stand rotates as well. Furthermore, I dislike the controls of this screen. In my old Samsung I could connect 2nd computer using analog VGA cable, and switch the screen to it with one press of a button. Here user has to work through a menu to select a different input source. The one-press screen change is amiss.
Summary: I think the picture quality of this monitor is great. But, if you use a special stand that allows you to setup 2 or more monitors, then look elsewhere. Dell designed this montior with a different backing than what most other monitors use (VESA). Because of this, you won't be able to connect this monitor to one of those stands. Instead, you will be stuck using the stand that comes with it. I purchased this monitor as a birthday gift for my wife.
Summary: I returned the Del ST-2410 which came defective out of the box and it took me 5 hours on the phone to get a return authorization from them. It required a tech to ok it and then back to customer service for an RGA. Each time you are on hold for 45 minutes. I got an HP 27" TS-27M9 from HP and out fo the box it was 1st rate with amazing graphics and blue ray play back that would knock you socks off.
Summary: The monitor doesn't work properly to show basic graphics for a regular PC. Lots of flashing lines appear under the "optimal resolution". If adjusting to other resolution, the result is worse. I have years of advanced experience and my system has the latest driver updated for ATI Radeon HD 4890 under Windows 7. I spent time trying to fix time but in the end I have to return it to Dell. They charged a restocking fee for that, which made the experience worse.
