Summary: I know it's not the newest model, but I purchased this for a customer who already had one. Now she has dual monitors / extended desktop set-up with the exact same 2 monitors. She was ecstatic and couldn't say enough about how great they looked on her desk.

Summary: I replaced my malfunctioning Dell monitor that came with my system about 5 years ago. This product was easy to set up and works without a problem. The one thing I miss is the camera that was built into my previous monitor.
Summary: The setup on the monitor is easy. The picture is of good quality. I have only used it on a surveilance system, so I cannot give a full evaluation. The features are great. The only complaint is, the picture quality (mostly the brightness) changes when you look at it from different angles.
Summary: The monitor's indicator light is somewhat large and white; it shines out of the center of the monitor, just under the DELL logo. I like it but some may find it irritating if you use the monitor in a dark room. You could probably cover it in a way that wouldn't be visible.
Pros: Big, was on sale, color & contrast are excellent. Has all the connectors I could possibly need. Good aesthetics. Menu system is easy to use. Has those nice buttons that sense your touch without moving parts.
Cons: Washed out color / poor contrast when viewing from an angle - not for watching movies with your friends. ***This is a non-issue for a typical desktop workstation or gaming machine***
Summary: I bought it for myself as Christmas gift and 2nd monitor on my desktop.. I like the fact that it has HDMI port so that I can watch football game/news while my son is playing video game on the main TV screen. The only con, if there is only, is that it doesn't has volume control.
Summary: I bought it for my mother when it was on sale to do general web browsing and Excel/Word/Powerpoint. Don't buy this for games or videos - it just doesn't cut it in terms of color quality. You can find other monitors for maybe $10 more that are much better suited for games and movies.
Pros: HDMI, DVI, and VGA connections. 1080p. Good price. Just the right size for home office. Widescreen and large pixel density works well for spreadsheets/internet browsing. Touch buttons are cool, unlike many other monitors which have buttons on the underside and force you to hold the monitor down a...
Cons: Colors are not the best - kind of washed out and oversaturated. I wouldn't buy this for watching movies or playing games - it doesn't impress for a 1080p monitor. Hard to adjust settings to my liking.
Summary: im pretty satisfied with this monitor overall. havent had problems with it yet. hopefully i wont have any. really good picture quality for what you get with the money. definitely would reccommend.
Pros: nice touch controls on the side crystal clear display (1920 x 1080) nice and easy installation. all the main ports are there (vga hdmi composite, i think it even has coax but dont quote me on that one lol) oh and it comes with a spare vga cable in case i didnt have one. thanks dell!!
Cons: umm it wouldve been nice if the touch buttons on the side were lit at all times while the monitor is on. i can never see which button is which because they are not lit. they light up AFTER u press the buttons which kinda sucks. also dynamic contrast sucks because it keeps dimming the screen when ...
