Summary: As far as monitors go, this one is awesome. It is crystal clear and works perfectly. Assembly takes about a minute. The stand is built so you can tilt the screen, but you cannot raise/lower it. Had no problems with drivers and the settings interface is simplistic and easy.
Summary: My old monitor was not that bad: a small flat panel NEC. But the new one is so much better I can only describe it as "stunning". Sooo big and bright! ... and, at a price under $200, a great bargin.
Summary: I bought this after a truly dissappointing experience with an ACER 20 inch. The Dell is awesome. Clarity, adjustability, quality color easy controls and HUGE at least for my neophyte computer experience. Found one at staples for $129 which I felt was well worth it. Highly recommended.
Summary: Great monitor if your just using spread sheets. It totally blows for gaming or movies. It does have a DVI and HDMI connector which is nice to have choices of connections as well as the standard connection...they do supply the cable for the analog conection.
Pros: Adjustment menu is intuitive and simple to move through which is the only reason why I gave it an extra star. The buttons are touch sensitive so no clicking is needed just touch your finger to the sensor to make adjustments and the on-screen menu pops up. Very slick. Too bad none of the adjusting...
Cons: Colors are totally faded and washed out. To compensate for the lack of color the brighness was set at about 75% max (an out of the box default setting) which added a lot of white to everything to make the monitor appear to be a great looking monitor out of the box, but when you adjust the setting...
Summary: If you are picky about display quality, you'll enjoy this monitor. It is so clear, sharp and bright, it is almost clearer than real life. Photos and video practically pop out at you. Easy to set up and adjust. One fault- does not go up and down. We set ours on top of a phone book.
Summary: It doesn't make the tea or sing and dance but it does what it was bought for perfectly well. A sensibly priced monitor to replace the monitor that had come with my mother's PC and which had inexplicably packed in.
Summary: Been using this monitor for a few weeks now and it's really good. Quick set up using HDMI to my desktop and it's possible to switch over to a PS3 which looks good as well. The only thing I would say is that this model doesn't come with speakers so you'll have no sound, it may seem obvious but seeing...
Summary: I bought this monitor two months back for my personal use and I am very happy with its performance. There are three display ports DVI, VGA and HDMI and you can switch between the displays from the menu.
Summary: I am happy with this screen. What was important to me, other than some technical specs like resolution and DVI in, it was the shape. It matters when you to look at the screen even when it is turned off. Especially if you keep it in your room.
