Pros: Base is very sturdy, has an array of ways to connect the monitor, additional 2 USB ports on the side. I use this at my desk and just plug my laptop into it and put my laptop in my desk. Easy to use and change configurations, great quality picture.
Cons: The factory settings for the color, contract, brightness ect are not the best choices. Once out of the box you may not be as impressed but change the configurations a bit and the quality is excellent.
"Quality LCD, rare gloss finish, good for fussy eyes"
30 November 2009
Pros: Nice solid images, good but not great colours. Very nice design for its age. HDMI input. Rare Glossy screen. USB hub and integrated web cam. Have been using for a year now with no issues, very reliable and solid unit.
Cons: Poor text for thin fonts on some backgrounds. Colours shift dramatically with the viewing angle, especially vertically. Would not recommend for graphic artists, but if you like glossy screens & want an easy on the eyes screen then this is for you.
"Large, bright, inexpensive, but fails in image quality."
1 November 2008
Pros: Big, bright, evenly lit, relatively inexpensive, webcam, HDMI, DVI, VGA, USB all included.
Cons: Viewing angles are just terrible; OK for movies and games, but forget about anything involving text! Text is annoyingly unsharp and JPGs show obvious compression artefacts which makes it nearly useless for 95% of applications. Avoid!!!
Pros: Great for movies, graphics. Plenty of inputs, usb ports.
Cons: Texts in browser toolbars looks gray and fuzzy while texts against white look fine. Couldn't adjust so both are black and crisp. Can't get webcam, mics to work using my Compaq Presario desktop. No height adjustment. Only 1 user preset.
