After just over a year, one works fine and the other is having problems.

Scott Garber, Amazon
26 August 2014
  • Summary: I bought two of these monitors. One of them works fine. The other is having problems. The right side of the screen has a red tint to it and is slightly fuzzy/blurry. It is just over a year old so it is out of warranty through Dell. I guess these things may only last around a year so.

Initially happy, but now dissapointed.

J. Smith "MS", Amazon
16 November 2013
  • Summary: Two weeks after my initial review, this new monitor began to black-out periodically. Shortly thereafter, it then became worse. I then noticed a possible cause for this problem according to two cable sellers and an Audio Visual professional. Just underneath the plug, the DVI cable has a really hard bend in it. The reason for this is the monitor port is located in a tight, narrow space that causes the cable to kink and protrude outward (vs downward).

Doesn't do well in full screen mode

JP85, Dell
4 October 2013
  • Summary: I purchased this monitor as a gift for my husband who is an avid gamer. When it arrived and I hooked it up via VGA cable to his tower it looked beautiful and worked great. This only last for about 3 weeks. The monitor when attempting to put something into full screen mode would put itself into sleep mode. So, I did what any somewhat tech savvy person would do. I thought maybe it was the VGA cable, and hooked it up via HDMI, still no luck.

Good Monitor, but...

C. Meyer, Amazon
3 October 2013
  • Summary: The display on this monitor is beautiful, but there is one feature that I found extremely annoying, the dvi input on the back. There is so little space that it is nearly impossible to connect the plug. I've tried numerous times, but the plug invariably falls out, or never makes a connection to begin with. The vga connection is ok, but why should I settle for vga?

DisplayLink Software is Horrible, And Ethernet Won't Work Without IT

Robert J Prince, Amazon
1 June 2013
  • Summary: I'm very disappointed. I got this over the comparable Acer for the WebCam and the Ethernet port. Find out the Ethernet port doesn't work unless you install the DisplayLink Software. The DisplayLink software is horrible. I'm using the monitor as a secondary display to extend the desktop of my laptop.

Terrible Technical Service concering this monitor

CJBronco2, Dell

  • Excerpt: Got excited about not ordering 1, but 3 of them for an eyefinity setup. Delivery was speedy and the ordering process was great, however once the product arrived, it seems to work from the start but once it got to the desktop, it is doing what is shown in the pic. Called 3 different TS Reps and all of them were useless, 2 out of the 3 I could barely understand and no one could help me with my issue.

1 Stuck pixel :(

TalOrmanda, Dell

  • Summary: I got this about an hour ago. I didn't have any backlight bleeding or pressure issues like the others....but I have one green stuck pixel on the top right of this! It's so annoying to look at.

Problem with getting full screen display

Charlie909, Dell
20 December 2012
  • Excerpt: It took over 2 hours on the phone to Dell and reformatting my hard drive needlessly to get no resolution of the problem. I reconnected the HDMI cable and got a Windows update to get full screen. It still requires a 15% overscan to work AND not get a warning that I am only getting less than 1600 x 1200 resolution. The Catalyst Control Center - upgrade AMD still causes 5 crashes since I got the computer 2 weeks ago. I hesitate to call Customer Service.
