  • Summary: I purchased two of these monitors in September 2013. The first monitor stopped working after six months. Horizontal lines appeared on the right side of the monitor. The lines were so visible that the monitor was completely unusable. We tried connecting it to other computers, but it still didn't work. Today, less than one year after purchasing the two monitors ... the second monitor broke.

Reliability is bad.

  • Summary: Monitor came with inspiron computer ordered from dell in Oct. 2012. Enjoyed monitor for 1 yr. 5 mo. (5 mo. after warranty expired). Monitor began to flicker over Easter weekend, 2014, and screen turned to thin lines and bars of color. Sometimes when it is first turned on the screen is ok but then flickers to the lines and bars shortly. Called dell support to see if it would be feasible to send in for repair and was told that dell does not repair monitors.

Buy this only if you like the color yellow

  • Summary: I bought this monitor for development and graphics work and found the picture quality insufficient for either. The main problem is the representation of colors and white backgrounds. Colors were off and no amount of adjustments could make them look true. Whites had a yellow tint making any white background look dingy. All of this was made worse by the monitor sitting next to my macbook pro which has an excellent display with true colors and whites.

Not what was represented

  • Summary: I have not seen if Amazon has fixed the issue with this posting. I purchased what I thought was a 23" Dell touch screen, but received one that was only a 23" monitor with no touch screen capability. Returning the monitor wasn't a hassle, which I was happy with, just disappointed about the misrepresentation of the product.

  • Summary: So far, spent a couple of hours with dell support and still not able to get touch screen capabilities working. More time needed with their hardware people. Not too happy with it so far.

Real junk

  • Summary: I bought 4 of these for my office. We run spreadsheets most of the time. These monitors where the upgrade my employees where looking for as Christmas gifts. So I bought them, everyone happy, until 2 weeks ago. Two monitors are purple on the right, one is yellow on the left, and the last has dead spots. I'm now ordering new ones of a different brand. At the time I bought these there where only 5 star reviews. I agree with all the 1 and 2 star reviews.

  • Summary: Was great for 1yr. and 5 months (5 months after warranty ran out), then screen went bad. It started flickering to a screen with just lines and color bars on it. Can't use it anymore and it will cost too much to send it to dell to be fixed, if it can be fixed. In 30+ years of computing, never had a problem with a monitor before. Very disappointed in reliability of this product.

Terrible Technical Service concering this monitor

  • Summary: Got excited about not ordering 1, but 3 of them for an eyefinity setup. Delivery was speedy and the ordering process was great, however once the product arrived, it seems to work from the start but once it got to the desktop, it is doing what is shown in the pic.

nice while it works but very cheap materials

  • Summary: I got to use this monitor one time. As I was setting it up it fell over less than half a foot and is completely destroyed. The cheap screen has a huge white spot on it and the image keeps vibrating so that it's now completely unusable. I know it's my fault for dropping the monitor but I used to have Dell equipment in the early 2000's that could stand being dropped much worse than what happened to this monitor and I have an HP laptop that's survived 4 foot drops numerous...
