Summary: I bought this monitor for development and graphics work and found the picture quality insufficient for either. The main problem is the representation of colors and white backgrounds. Colors were off and no amount of adjustments could make them look true. Whites had a yellow tint making any white background look dingy. All of this was made worse by the monitor sitting next to my macbook pro which has an excellent display with true colors and whites.
Summary: I've had this monitor for a little less than a year now, and it just recently started getting white pulsating vertical lines on the right side of the screen. Tried everything - switching computers, resetting it to display settings, unplugging, etc. Pretty disappointed. I'll just go back to my HP S2331. Many others have had this problem as I've found online. Sad, because it has a great display on it, until it crapped out on me.
Summary: Well it went from bad to worse this weekend. My kids gave me this monitor as a Christmas gift last year and in about a month It was a bit tan on the left hand side and had a problem of persistent image. A faded image from earlier could still be seen on the left part of the screen. The working side was an awesome monitor. I said, OK, I can work with it. I don't have the heart return it.
Summary: I have not seen if Amazon has fixed the issue with this posting. I purchased what I thought was a 23" Dell touch screen, but received one that was only a 23" monitor with no touch screen capability. Returning the monitor wasn't a hassle, which I was happy with, just disappointed about the misrepresentation of the product.
Does not work with monitor stands among other issues

Summary: I bought two of these to use with a monitor stand (seemed like a good candidate since the bezel is small) but unfortunately they do not have the mounting holes on the back that all other LCD panels do. Also the stand it comes with causes the monitor to shake like crazy when I type. You will need a very solid desk to use this monitor. Also, the reflective screen I find very annoying.
Summary: My previous monitors were Dell IPS 2005 Panels and they lasted 8 years before manifesting typical signs of age. I figured I'd stay brand loyal and continue with 3 Dell monitors and last another 8 years. First thing you're going to notice is that the base is 100% non-adjustable. Not the end of the world but definitely not 5 star quality. Second thing you're going to notice is that the gloss is profound.
Summary: I bought 4 of these for my office. We run spreadsheets most of the time. These monitors where the upgrade my employees where looking for as Christmas gifts. So I bought them, everyone happy, until 2 weeks ago. Two monitors are purple on the right, one is yellow on the left, and the last has dead spots. I'm now ordering new ones of a different brand. At the time I bought these there where only 5 star reviews. I agree with all the 1 and 2 star reviews.
Summary: Hello I am a Professional Photographer, I have purchased this monitor in November 2012 it is now the End of April and Have already received 3 different monitors from Dell's warranty with the same problem. I believe this product line is defective, some LED's go out on half of the screen creating a green shift (green tint) also loss of quality in that part of the screen. You can see the pixels, so both horizontal and Vertical lines.
